Morning all
Just had a coffee, been rumaging in the loft for some baby stuff for a friend who is coming round later. I knew there was a lot of stuff up there but  how much! Just about to parcel up ebay sales, hit the shower then the PO. So whilst very busy here not a lot of flying going on (seems to be the case most days ) Need to do some serious decluttering round here so how on earth did I end up with 4 boxes of books for listing from the Christmas fair?????? Because I hate to see things go to the tip/bin where they can be reused/recycled elsewhere

Morning all. Hope you all had a good weekend!
House stayed surprisigly clean and tidy all weekend - probably because OH was out at work all Sunday instead of dropping random things all over the place. House in better condition than I am, didn't sleep well and when did sleep had turbulent dreams including a slightly rude one involving Craig Charles of all people (no nudity though luckily!) (Blaming the pregnancy hormones for that one!)

Morning all
One load of washing draped round the house, it's dull and drizzly here.
I've done everything in the kitchen/diner except the oven and I'm still not going to do it.......the grill broke a couple of weeks ago and I'm telling myself that if I clean the oven that will break too. Want it to last until after Christmas please! (excuses, excuses).
I've wrapped up the last Christmas present I bought on Saturday and packaged it all up for posting. Doesn't need to go yet but it's just ready to be posted. Got in a bit of a kerfuffle with the sellotape, as usual, but it's done.
I should start thinking about writing cards, maybe later this week.
I dusted and vacuumed living room and through hallway too.0 -
This is going so slow today.
Have done inventory of the freezer - more in there than I thought.
Have also put home made leek and potato soup into the freezer in portions (its delicious BTW).
But I cant seem to get motivated enough to really ATTACK the list.
will try another cuppa - see what that does.

Morning all
Just a quickie from me. Think my plans of deep cleaning will have to go on hold for a few days as got poorly little one. DD2 has a temp (which I think is the reason she threw up about half an hour ago) and was up from 3.30am with a cough. So she wants lots of cuddles so that comes first today.
Had a quick flick round but as we were out all day Saturday and Sunday the house is looking ok.
Right I fancy egg mayo rolls for lunch so off to boil some eggs.0 -
Is anyone up for a 30 minute challenge? I haven't done any of the kitchen yet, as made and went to a doctors appointment this morning then did food shop (some still to put away in kitchen) and then have called up a school to arrange visiting before I apply for a temporary year 2 position - headteacher is going to call me back, so feeling quite nervous, and need to take my mind off things. Shall we say meet back at 12.10 to update our lists? I may be interrupted by the call, but will try to do as much as poss.

AnWsMum I am the same, I've even been known to take boxes of books etc when at the tip dropping off recycling to take to charity shop, day centre, fairs etc
I hate stuff being wasted that someone would be grateful of.
susie great to hear the party went well, nice not feeling embarrassed by the chaos isn't it
Shell, hope your little one is better soon, sounds like what my son had last week and I had over the weekend. Enjoy the cuddles, cuddles definately come first when there is poorly little ones.
Sexymouse, hope the visit goes well, 2 years, that's a long temporary contract! I'll join you in the challenge (starting now of course)
Pigpen hope the review goes well, enjoy your afternoon nap!
Right, freecycle stuff collected, parents not in so came straight back. Did get lost on the way there :rolleyes:22 miles there, 16 back, so quite a bit lost actually! Ok time for a 30 minute burst, sure I can get the kitchen done in that.
One day I might be more organised...........
