Evening all - DS2 has just lost a huge molar so toothfairy needs to get her wings flapping again tonight - actually he just said hand over the cash and I'll give you the tooth.
Tinsel biggest hugs ever to you hun. I struggle with the house a mess, scare myself witless with my health and have had a sick parent so I really do feel for you.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening/morning All....
Not been keeping up with all like I thought I would so loves, hugs, tickles to all who need it..I haven't read the thread, just thought I'd pop in and say 'hello'..
Anyway not doing much everyday cleaning, just the basics. Haven't been able to do any washing for days cause its been raining, but its sunny so far today so I'm going to try to get through a few loads...
Also today I tend to clean the bathroom, have a good hoover and wash the floors, so I'll be doing that too.
we aren't really around that much and I wouldn't say it feels like home. It also helps that we hardly have any stuff so the place doesn't take much to keep tidy.....
I bought loads of cleaning things and have barely used anything....just can't get into deep cleaning a house that I'm only in for 3 months.....is that really bad of me...?0 -

Quite a bit left to do on the lists but we'll have to see if anything else gets done!
Tonight has not gone to plan as I've had my mate's 2 kids after she had an accident in her car. I ended up spending ages reading stories to her DD after my DD went for her swimming lesson as she was bored then! I wanted to go shopping as well while DD was at her swimming lesson but obviously I didn't do that either.
I have cleared some of the clutter from the floor in the dining room but I think that's probably about it for tonight. I was hoping to get quite a bit done while DH is away but never mind.
Right I'll crack on but I don't think I'll be long before heading to bed.
So night all
Hugs to poorly ones and anyone else who needs them

Groan... I'm beat.
Dusty, my conscience is clear - I didn't go on Facebook honest! Ta for keeping me in check though, I did ask for it.
I spent half an hour giving the hall and front porch a good clean, paintwork and everything. Put some handbags and a coat out for my charity box (after checking through for loose change of course) and then 1 & 3/4 hours in the livingroom. I've pulled the place apart and rearranged it all so there's a nice Christmas tree sized gap waiting to be filled in a couple of weeks
Tinsel, it's nice to have you back. What an challenging time you've had.. Hope things are looking up. I know exactly what you mean about feeling out of control. I think the point of this thread for me is that I can keep control in the home then I feel prepared for anything outside of it. I miss having the time to come on here as often as I'd like but I have to get some balance and a Fly-fix a couple of times a week at least.
I'll catch you all tomorrow evening, my bedroom isn't too bad so I might try and squeeze in the bathroom too as Mr messy is coming round Thursday to undo my hard work.
