Well, if he didn't start visibly shaking, sweating and stuttering when you took him the phone, then I bet it's just someone getting confused.
Of course, she may be doing the dirty but with someone completely different (sorry, that's me casting an aspertion isn't it)! Like you say it's not as if he's called something that unusual.
If it happens again, then tiamai has a point, engage her and tell her what's what.
Congrats on your windfall!0 -

Excellent, and you are not a twerp!
All innocent and above board.... just like we said all along..;)
It's still a relief though, eh. I must say she didn't help matters with her secretive attitude though.
Crisis averted then.

glad it is sorted. do wish these people would think before they ring mobile number etc.
Well have not done much else today and was planning on going shopping tonight but feel really tired so may give it a miss, will no doubt save some money too.
have to say am laughing at the moment as ds age 3 is dressing his sister 20 months in his shoes and his coat. She looks so adorable and lets big brother do anythingJanuary Grocery 11/3740 -
Sorry Pigpen but that had me laughing...I think it's the way you tell them!
Today i've done general tidying and filled all the holes in the walls of the living room. Just heard our friends aren't coming to stay so we have an extra weekend to sort the house. We're going to work hard Friday and Saturday and then have a nice day out on Sunday.
I'm setting myself a challenge in December. We're having a budget of £100 a week which has to include....food....petrol....children's swimming and clubs....train fairs....clothes (son needs new uniform as has wrecked three pairs of trousers since September)....things I need for work....last few presents I need....all food and drink for christmas. In other words, everything apart from mortgage and direct debits. Mmmmm.......think it might be a challenge but will try!
Speak later xxJanuary budget

Hi guys
Hope everyone is ok, I'm coming down with a stinkin cold  (I've only been back at work a week - I'm struggling through each day as I can't really afford anymore time off)
Anyway didn't do much yesterday as I felt rotten, but I've caught up today
Living room dusted, hoovered and floors wiped. S&S Kitchen, hoovered and wiped floors. Stairs hoovered as well. Just dropped DS off at footie practice so going to prep tomorrows dinner (shepherds pie). Dinner tonight is chips from chippy as I can't be bothered.
Definatley going to have an early night as I'm completely exhausted.
See you later

Evening everyone!
Thanks for all of the replies re how to clean the kitchen floor. Think I may have to invest in a scrubbing brush or a new mop then. Been on supply today and asked the head if he would be my referee for this job I want to apply for, and he said "of course I will - I'm sure we can sort you out a good reference!" I'd made sure that I'd been telling him all of the good things we'd done today throughout the day, and didn't ask him until the end of the day, and he thanked me and told me that I'd done a good job today when he signed my timesheet. (I'd had to sort out a case of suspected bullying, and then some violence linked to it, and think that I handled it quite well.)
I forgot to say the other day pigpen - congratulations on all of your son's progress - you both must have worked really hard to get him to the level he's at now, especially with all of the challenges he has had to overcome to get there.
Haven't been called by the agency about any work tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to catch up with the flying I missed today, and also get some of my job application done - I want to try and get it in before anyone else does, as hopefully this will increase my chances of being selected for interview.
Off to dinner at MIL's now, so see you all tomorrow. Sweet dreams everyone, and enjoy the rest of your evening (morning for Denise).

HI all
Pigpen - you're having a right time of it arn't you! Glad the phone mystery is sorted. Re your DS I feel for you! DS1 is 13 and my most challenging and always has been. Too be honest I don't think he has ever got over the birth of the others and not being an only child anymore. Sometimes I really don't link him at all and he can be vile. Knowing other people have the same problems makes it a bit easier.
DS2 has a temp now and is feeling all weak 'like my legs won't hold me up'. Not great as he is due to run cross country for the school tomorrow and we are off to CP on Friday. I'll see how he is in the morning but I am supposed to be at his school invigilating an exam.
Going to catch up on emails whilst kids watch tv. Lost the will to even try to fly.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I've been grounded this afternoon. I suspect I have food poisoning, or some other horrible thing going on. I felt a little better this morning so I thought maybe I was over it, but no, I now feel just as bad. I managed to get to the vets just about, though would have been cheaper not to, thankfully I got a discount for a bulk appointment
Tomorrow if I'm still feeling like this it's off to the doctors. This is so typical, I book a week off work to study (plus I need to use up all my holiday) and I get ill. If I end up moving my exam again I am going to get so much stick from everyone at work.
I've managed to eat about 3 bread rolls since sunday evening, so if anyone has any ideas for something easy and simple to cook that's veggie let me know. I'd prefer not to have to go out and get anything, but given I have very little in then that's very unlikely. I'm currently thinking about some mash potato, I think I can just about manage to make that. Though without any milk or marg etc. If I can't mange it, atleast the rats will eat it.
Right i'm off to flick a duster around downstairs while the mash potato cooks. Hovering however can wait, I don't have the energy for that.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0
