Morning.
Thanks for all the welcome backs and messages, they meant a lot.
I have missed being around here and am so pleased to be back!
It must be the week for clearing out lofts as we did ours on Sunday.
It would seem that everything we ever bought that came in a box, the box got put in the loft. So we've had a huge sort out and it's all in the front garden waiting to go to the tip today. Plus I have one bag of clothes in a Great Ormond Street charity bag which got put through the door yesterday and another 2 bags of bits and pieces to take to a local charity shop.
So plan for today is after trip to tip go and see my dad and then once I know he's ok back here for some quiet planning time and see if I can cobble together something which looks like an achievable routine and I must clean the bathroom!
Julie- hope your friend is ok after her accident.
LJD- good luck with the money challenge
vanilla- well done on the news about your DD sppech therapy. When we became a family DS was 3 and a half and could only say his vowel sounds. He had to have loads of therapy and he worked so hard and now you would never know he had any difficulties at all.
Hope poorly people are feeling better today....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Morning all, no flying done at all this week!
Spend all day monday in hospital with DD getting tests done before her surgery.
Then spent all tuesday waiting in hospital for her surgery in the afternoon. She had other ideas though apparently, at about 2pm they checked her temperature and it was 39.6 (104 ish for all you old folk)
So got sent home instead! Will reschedule it for a couple of weeks time.
I have alot of flying to do to catch up:o
Hope everyone is well, you all sound like you're having eventful weeks.

I'm around but shouldn't be. Charlie and one of the cats are demolishing the livnig room, and charlie almost had a nasty accident when he pulled a dining room chair over on himself. I think it may be another one of those days, and he is definitely back at nursery tomorrow. I on the otherhand am still feeling quite rough, so i think i may tell them i am self-certifying for the rest of the week so i can actually rest.
I'd say i have not done a lot, but i have had to clean up after charlie since 7 (DH got up at 6:30 bless him), got a metal splinter out of DH's finger for him, and cleaned up a massive pile of soggy cornflakes from where the bowl got tipped over. CHILDREN!! Why on earth did i want a 2nd one??? As this one is already causing me loads of grief and it has another 6 months of pregnancy to go.
Just joking. Will feel better after some rest tomorrow.
Will pop in later when charlie is snoozing i think

Morning
Great to see you back tinselhope things settle down for you now, sounds like a rough time you've had.
Arms length hugs for the poorly ones, seems everyone has been busy in their own ways this last day or so.
How frustrating about your DD GnB hope she's feeling better soon and the surgery goes ahead next time.
Well on top of loads of flying hat desperately need doing round here I am also waiting for a phone call (could be any time today) and then after that I have to ring the 'lovely' tax credit people grrrrrrr The latest coding notice is wrong just for a change and if I don't do anything about it we are going to be over paid by loads. Just seen my sis who has had her tax credits stopped without reason rang up and was told you are under investigation   Every time they have had a change in income they have rung up so no idea what's happening there. When asked how long it will take to sort they more or less said how longs a piece of string

morning all
hugs to those in need. i work with teenagers pigpen (which is why i am changing my job....) delightful creatures.
right, well yesterday didn't go exactly as planned...i ended up making a last minute trip up here to OH's to look at some rental properties (i felt i was not involved enough with him doing it all - i am going to live there after all, and it's hard for him to keep taking afternoons off work too). imagine me running to the station (just along the road from me) and down the stairs shouting at the guard to hold the train for me.... which he did
so i made it and we looked at a place last night, was nice, modern flat, we almost went for it, but the guy was trying to get us to do it direct through him not the agent which left us feeling slightly uneasy, and it was 3rd floor and not overly big...we have a lot of stuff. so hopefully we've not shot ourselves in the foot. we're seeing a 3 bed one for the same prove this arvo, probably not as nice and new but i think we'd prefer the space, and it would mean i could avoid zone 1 getting to work and therefore save £1k a year!!!! it's just round the corner from OH's parents and friends too, which is nice. i'm going to see one this morning too, so hopefully one of them will come off!
so now i have to ring my boss and tell him i'll be in london til 4 so can't make a 2pm meeting in Bournemouth....oh well, needs must i think...
better get myself dressed and ready, will leave in an hour to look at the first place.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Morning all.
Hope all is well in your flying worlds. No flying planned here. Need to get presents bought yesterday in from the car and listed and stashed then tidy upstairs before invigilating.
Afternoon plan is to pack so I don't have to do it tomorrow when DS1 and DS2 have learning review day.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning everyone:hello:
I have read the tread but everything has left my mind so big hugs to everyone who needs them espically Tinsel.:grouphug:
Well yesterday turned out to be the day from hell, me and sister had a big bust up so i don't think she's talking anymore. I really couldn't keep quite any longer, i spent all morning looking at the job center jobs while she sat on bebo looking up people she doesn't even like so i gave off and she got cross, so i'll be amazed if she calls up today.:wall:
Anyway plan on flying today as i haven't done much these last few days.
Right :coffee: first, anyone fancy one?Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0
