Good morning everyone!

Little Miss Saver - hope your cold is improving
Tinselfairy - Hello from a newbie! I've also had lumpy breasts before which is very frightening, and the radiologist recommended taking Evening Primrose which helps with hormonal things like that. It's hard to say if it's worked, because who's to say I would have got any more lumps without it, but it cleared my bad skin up no end!!!

Had a rotten night's sleep. My eight year old woke me to say it was 9.10 and she was late for school. As my sleep befuddled brain struggled to adjust I realised it was still pitch black, checked the clock and it was 3.10! She immediately went back to sleep, I tossed and turned for the next two hours! She said this morning her eyes were blurry and it made an extra line appear on the digital clock!
Health visitor coming today to "let me know aboout services available in my area" so need a quick do over everywhere as well as main tasks.

chocaholic my boys have done that before, nightmare, hope you manage to get some sleep later or an early night at least.
D&DD you have my sympathy, my partner changed his hours last year, he went from working 6 days (morning until very late with just 2 hours at home) then the other day at uni to working 3 evenings a week. Meaning he's now here all day with me. I'll be honest we split up at first, just were not used to each other, occasionally gets bad nowOne day I might be more organised...........

I'm having new windows put in, so can't do a THING, oh dear, oh dear, whatever shall I do?
Stare at the three blokes installing them maybe? :A
However, for the first time ever, I got up at 7am and did this lot...
TD load on
Made all the beds
Picked up dirty washing
Did the breakfast dishes
got DS1 to school on time
DS2 to nursery in an hour, yea! Bit weird as I have to leave the window guys in my house on their own....
Although... I'm so bored.... doing menus for my Mum at the moment, and kinda trying to make them take as long as possible... Plus, I kinda need the loo...0 -
Morning all
Two loads of washing done, including my bedding. I've put some on the line and some draped round inside because it's supposed to rain later but it blowing well at the moment - hedging my bets!
Remade bed. Dusted and vacuumed all bedrooms and landing. Finally remembered cobwebs on bathroom ceiling while I actually had the vacuum in my hand and put the soft brush on the end and got them all off. Went round the landing ceiling too. Not that many but enough.....
Wrote Christmas cards this morning. Put everything away and then remembered three more I haven't done. Might do them later......or not. Need a few more stamps too. I have a couple for the USA which I should post next week so I can get some more stamps at the same time.
Post just came with DVD I ordered from HMV. Ice Age and Ice Age 2 double pack for £5.99 free postage. Pretty good I thought. I've seen Ice Age but I love it and I haven't seen Ice Age 2, so I think I'll keep that for Christmas when there's nothing on. Waiting for Monster House now (£4.99). What do you mean I'm too old?0 -
Morning again properly.
I have managed to get them to give charlie his MMR. The key question apparently is has he been suffering with a fever, which he hasn't so she went ahead and did it. It was the grumpy nurse i don't like, not the nice one who was off sick last week.
charlie fell asleep in the car on the way home, so he is now in his cot hopefully for a couple of hours.
I have managed to get the wm on with a light load, and have a snack of a scone and a glass of OJ. I think now i will unpack charlie's nappy bag, and then ring work to tell them i am taking the rest of the week off.
had a comedy moment where one of my work colleagues was leaving the drs car park as i was walking in, so i got my head down and walked in quickly hopefully without her noticing, as i hate people seeing me out and about when i am off ill.
also need to phone sister back as she rang just as i was about to leave.
tia don't envy you the mess tonight. Even if they tidy up after themselves, we found glass all week after ours was done. I went to work and left DH to deal with them, and in the time i was out, they had changed all the windows, put a patio door in where the dining room window was, and knocked down my porch and put down a new base. DH had mostly tidied up by the time i got back, but not to my standard, so i still had several hours of dusting and hoovering before i felt safe to do anything and the dust had got everywhere.
Anyway - time for the phonecalls. Best to get the work one out the way at least while charlie isn't about as again, they won't think much if they can hear him storming around in the background.

You are never to old for kids DVD's!!! I love having a 3 yr old, its a great excuse to buy things like Tom And Jerry:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Had an absolutely lousy nights sleep, at 4.30 this morning there were 3 fireengines outside my bedroom window with their blue lights flashing away and a spot light. It appears the house about 3 doors down had a fire. They were there for ages so I didn't manage to get back to sleep until about 6am.
Despite that I'm actually feeling quite a bit better. The aches and pains appear to have gone, the only thing I really feel now is sick and lots of trapped wind.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0
