Can anyone confirm the best browser to use for the application process to avoid the problems posted on here?
I will be using a laptop.
Cheers
Depends what sort of laptop! I did mine on Microsoft Edge and it went through OK.urs sinserly,

I can't tell you what browser will work, but then again neither can Lloyds.
I had the unable to continue problem using Samsung Internet, so I would avoid that or try the above mentioned tab key workaround.Keef - Sheerness, Kent UK0 -
got the incentive on the 8th with a switch scheduled for the 14th but it was credited AND debited in the same day,I contacted them and they said the switching department is aware of a problem and I should have the incentive with in 7 days after my switch is completed0

Can the direct debit be the same one but debiting twice in the same month or do they have to be separate active direct debits?
I don't know the answer to this and I suggest you ask them directly.
I would guess that you are switching or considering switching - this is the switching thread after all! Two direct debits is only important if you want to receive interest on the new account. If you don't, the direct debits are not required. See what EarthBoy said above0 -
All this talk of upgrading and downgrading of accounts has got me thinking about the cinema tickets. Assume you use all 6 within the first couple of months. Could you downgrade the account and then upgrade it again to get another 6. Effectively having no limit to the amount of cinema tickets you could get?0

I don't agree. I think its sloppy wording.
However, I doubt if Xs500 will report back on whether one of their 2 Club Lloyds account is sole or joint, or if both sole, the new one remains open:cool:0 -
Both old and new Club Lloyd's accounts are in my sole name.
They have confirmed by text that my switch is being progressed.
They have also emailed me to choose a freebie magazine subscription for the new account and accepted my choice.
So far, so good, will keep the forum updated.0 -

How was the 2nd account opened? Online (logged out?) or by phone?0 -

Until Lloyds close all his accounts as they have been known to do!;)
The downgrade then upgrade option doesn't produce another Lifestyle Benefit email (I've tried it) so I assume that the existing Lifestyle Benefit on that account number is only renewed after the existing year is up (similar to how you can't open another CL monthly saver until the year is up even if you close it early).0
