Hello x
Hope you all had a good day I particularly enjoyed my brussel sprouts having not been able to eat them for 4 years:T
Anyway looking forward to the next challenge xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Merry Christmas!
Please may I join you again in January? When do you start?0 -
Good morning everyone :hello:
Long time no see but I have been lurking and cheering you all on from the sidelines.
We have had the most loveliest Christmas with lots of feasting going on but I have woken up in the early hours and have decided to get back on the healthy eating wagon from today. The house may have lots of treats in it but I am actually craving fresh home cooked food with plenty of fruit and vegetables.
My husband bought me the latest Pinch of Nom book so I will be having a proper look through that in a little while and planning some meals from it. I am also going to actually use my WW subscription and record everything on that. I chickened out of going to a class as I am still very unsteady on my feet and struggle to get in and out of the car. I have put the idea on a back burner for now until later in the year.
My meals today are likely to be:
b - 2 Weetabix and a banana
l - turkey, a few actifry chips, lots of pickled veg
d - roast gammon salad
s - apple, satsuma
It is so lovely to be back posting here and I hope to offer encouragement to you all. I hope you are all having a smashing Christmas break, lots of love to you xx0 -
Hi Frith i'll start the new thread either on New Years Eve or New Year Day depending on when I get organised
Dumpling I'm like you and craving 'proper' food today, I have also been given the new Pinch of Nom book, I liked to the previous one so hopefully there will be some good recipes in it
I hope every one had a good Christmas and glad you enjoyed the sprouts Molly
I took a passing glance of the scales this morning and quickly got off again, back to healthy eating today and rationing the 'naughties' which seem to be in the house  hopefully i can undo some of the damage of the last few days.

Brambling, I would be interested to know if the new pon book is worth getting as I have the previous one as well, I'm torn between that and the two chubby cubs one that is coming out next week?
Hope you all had good Christmas, I too am feeling bloated and uncomfortably, but also can't seem to stop myself choosing unwisely.'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Thank you, Brambling.
This will be the 3rd time I’ve needed to lose 2 stones. My eating is hugely out of control.0 -
Hi everyone
I too hopped on and off the scales today
I’m going to have to start again in the next quarter and accept defeat in this one!
I will try and eat a bit more mindfully and healthily from today though - feeling uncomfortable if I’m honest!0 -
Hi everyone! Well, I just can't pluck up the courage to step on the scales. My eating has totally gone haywire.
I shall start again in the new quarter.:o31.5/1000 -
So weight lost friends I'm drawing a line under Christmas week
. Tomorrow is a new year and a new start
.
I briefly checked the scales this morning and things weren't as bad as I feared and definitely less than last year  I've braved the SM this morning on the way back from the garage and brought plenty of fruit and veg and a replacement half price wok, the freezer is full of fish, chicken and lean meat and I've crafting stuff to keep my hands occupied in the evenings. If only it was that easy :rotfl: I've just finished the last of the very small Christmas cake with a cuppa so hopefully my sister will be kind when she feeds me tonight
Happy New Year  hope to see you on the 2020 threadLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0
