Hi All,
A very quick pop in as I'm working from home today.
Cranky Sorry you've had such a worrying time, I hope that your OH's on the mend now and that you have a good Christmas. Well done for not reaching for food to see you through it and the loss.
Blue Doggy Yay, well done on the loss :T Have a fabulous Christmas and see you next year.
Brambling I hope you've recovered from your broken sleep and are feeling slightly more with it now. Thank you so much for keeping track of us all on here. Even though I failed miserably at this quarter's challenge I fear it would've been a lot worse without the support here.
Wishing everyone a fabulous Christmas and New Year. See you all the other side, hopefully not too much heavier than I am now xx0 -
Hi everyone. Sorry -again!- for the rather sporadic posting. I’ll probably not weigh in now until the festivities are over, and fully expect a gain when I do, but I will double down on my efforts in the New Year and hope I can stick around on here?
Have a very peaceful and Happy Christmas everyone:xmastree::xmassmile

Gah! I have put +2lbs back on! Grrr, I was stress eating a lot last week and then things went haywire on Saturday during a family gathering that involved much cooking and sampling of each other's creations (cultural tradition from where my DiL is from). As if that wasn't bad enough, I ended up snacking on the goodies in my fridge all weekend.
So, I am back in the 200s again. Gah!
Trying not to beat myself up and just survive the holiday period without losing my weight loss mojo completely.31.5/1000 -
BFH Definitely stick around for the new year. Even if you don't feel up to weighing in I find that fessing up here does help keep me a little bit in check at times.
Frugalina Sorry about the gain but I hope you enjoyed the family gathering. Try to focus on the fact that you're still a lot lighter than when you started rather than the number on the scales. You've done so well and everyone's allowed a blip every now and then, especially at Christmas. Best of luck keeping hold of your mojo.0 -
Thanks Izadora, it was a lot of fun and important to make my DiL feel part of the family, so it was time well spent. As will all the family gatherings over the next few days.
That is really what Christmas is all about and I am very fortunate to have so many lovely people around me. That hasn't always been the case when I lived several hundred miles away and work or transport troubles conspired against me.
Anyway, what is done is done, I am trying to stay sensible, if not perfect and get back into it once all the festivities are over.
We can only do our best!31.5/1000 -

Don't be too hard on yourself FrugalLina this is your first gain and you've done fantastic this challenge, it sounds like you were being a good MIL, unfortunately this time a year there are too many temptations around

Sorry I have been awol for a bit, it's been so busy here at work and home, last week was a less than 1/2 loss so I'm registering a sts, I've had a sneaky weigh in today and have decided to ignore it :rotfl:
Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and thanks to all as this is such a supportive board :grouphug:

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Thanks Brambling, it is so hard trying to stay on track at this time of year. In a way, I will be glad when all the excess is over, but on the other hand, I do enjoy the festivities and will be sad when the decorations come down.
Still, come the new year, we will all be rocking it!
:xmassign:Have a lovely Christmas day everyone - thanks for all your support! :xmassign:31.5/1000
