Well done Izadora :T it's good you have carried on, it would have been easy to say s*d it, it's Christmas
Molly / Short_bird depending when I get my act together qtr 1 2020 will be either added New Years Eve or New Year Day, unfortunately I will be still here trying to lose weight
FrugalLina - you're not having much luck with your boiler i hope it's not on the way out
I had a horrid drive into work this morning, the county is flooded and i probably should have turned back which is what the local radio station was telling me to doI get really stressed driving in flood water even through i took the less country roads to work, all routes between my home and work towns involve country roads . I did announce when I got to work that I was going home, but was talked into staying as the roads were manic, backlash from M23 closure causing chaos on the A23 which in turn affected the smaller roads I drive on with drivers no idea where they were going
I came home at lunchtime as I can work from home, the road wasn't too bad as it had stopped raining but I didn't want to risk more rain and a drive home along dark country roads. Today's my last day until next Friday as I drew the short straw and have to work on the 27th and 30th
I'm ashamed to say I have been eating loads of bad food, I must read that book FrugalLina as it seems once I started on the chocolate at work I just kept onone of our IT suppliers brought in loads of chocolates etc today, some I have persuaded the boss to leave until the new year when there are more of us in to eat it and some we have split between us to bring home, if i'm good it will end up at friends on boxing day
B- mince pie (they were in the kitchen at work)
L - crumpets and cheese
D - not sure yet will need to put my thinking cap on
S - to many fancy rich chocolates brought in by another IT supplier yesterdayLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -

FrugalLina I hope your boiler is sorted out now. These things do know the worst times to go wrong, don’t they?At least you had something useful to do while waiting.

Good evening all,
Sorry that I'm late again this week - it's been a bit of a busy week with one thing and another. For only the second time in my life I didn't turn to food when upset. It really goes deep for that to happen I suppose. It involved an operation on someone that I love very much, complications, a horrific journey for them to bring them to where the rest of us are and a lot of pain for them too.
My weigh in was on Thursday and I lost 1.5 lbs. I'm not stupid enough to think that I've cracked the emotional eating thing but I'm pleased that I've managed to stay in control at least this once.
Take care all of you and I hope you all have a decent Christmas :rudolf:0 -
Sorry you're OHs op was dramatic for everyone Cranky but good news that he's with you to look after him
. I will say well done on the lose but I'm sorry it was loss due to worry and stress

It's been another wet day here as well

B - porridge and fruit
L - crumpets and cheese
D - steak, air fried chips, mushrooms, sweetcorn
S - mince pieLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
