I'm planning to go for sedation, it sounds unfun honestly. I hadn't thought of bringing extra clothes, thank you for the tip!

Aren't cats just the best? Mine hear me wake up in the night and come for cuddles keeping up for so very long and then I'm tired all day. Worth it.

Goodness, 6.30. I don't know if I love my cats enough for that!

I had the camera and the sedation. I distinctly remember thinking to myself that this is very unpleasant but other than that I can't remember much after the sedation went in. Somewhere along the timeline I decided to take off my shoes and I started texting people, asking one of my friends if she wanted to come over for a sleepover. They told me that every thing looks good, which I am happy about! Feel pretty ill still but I haven't thrown up in a week which is incredible. However I did learn something, if you get a choice between a doctor and a nurse to put in a cannula, choose the nurse! I. Bled. Everywhere!

In other news, my sister has a new job and I cannot be happier for her! She will get a large payrise and will be turning my spare room into her office for the time being.

    Money money money
It is more and more apparent that I must replace my car which scuppers a lot of my excitement this month. However, my investments (not pensions) have hit the next milestone which is always lovely! My cash has dropped less than expected. I have managed to cut right down on buying food. I should, hopefully, hit £100k net worth (including my estimated flat equity) by the end of the year. This is obviously dependent on my being good and my investments.

It's been a bit of a mixed week. Monday I was sent to A&E (I'm fine, just a fierce drama queen), got a surprise vaccine appointment, accidentally bought a new car and met a kitten. I know what you're all thinking... Yes, he's gorgeous and tiny and just a joy to be around.

However, this week is the one year anniversary of my uncle dying. It feels like not long ago at all and it's very strange.

I went to a charity shop with furniture and I have to say that the pricing is just crazy! Poor quality corner cabinets for £75 each but a good quality table and chairs for £60. Do not understand! They did have good stuff but my mind was blown.

Thanks NG, I'm fine really! I pulled some of my chest muscles throwing up so I called my GP to get advice on painkillers and then I'm sent to A&E. It was very painful but have to honest, never once thought it was serious but I follow doctors' advice. Must compliment all of the staff, they were all wonderful with me and I was only in for about 2.5 hours.

    More fun things!
I have my new car! It's so smooth, so moldless and the radio works! I picked it up on the year anniversary of my uncle's death, it feels absolutely right since he loved cars. The insurance is not too bad either, it was £400ish which was about £140 more than what I was paying. My neighbour came over to celebrate my new car and told me that I need to wash this one! :sunglasses: I had to borrow money off of mum, my initial plan was to put it onto a 0% credit card but then I was told that I can't pay by CC! I'm lucky that mum could step in, I will be paying her a minimum of £100 each month with adhoc payments on top.

Yesterday I saw this beautiful bureau on marketplace for £20, nothing like the other one I liked months back. This one is more traditional style but larger with a red stain. I learnt my lesson from last time and messaged straight away, checked with my mum whether she would be upset if I bought something like this while owing her a substantial amount of money and measured the inside of my car. Went to the place that afternoon and the mouth of my boot is not big enough! Devastated! Then the man was lovely and offered to drive it to my flat, I paid him £10 extra.

Today I collected a little ottoman fro my uncle's house, I remember it as our toy chest. It has a lot of good memories, for example my brother had this strange obsession over the door snake thing and would cuddle it in bed.

I have cut back on lunch spending, I will cut back more though. I also need to sort out the electricity and gas. Who knew that there was so much to do?

Oooh congrats on the car! Is it brand new or new to you? Fantastic having a radio that works, especially as the sun is out. Ds2 and I have been out today with the roof down listening to some old cds my friend gave me as her cars don’t have players as they are not ancient like mine 😂

Sounds like things are going well at the moment, will you be renovating the toy box and bureau?

Been a little while! No excuse, just been sleeping a lot.

Th car is new to me. It's from 2013 and less than 50k miles. I don't think I can ever get a brand new car, all those decisions. All the bells and whistles? No bells? No whistles? What colour? No. Thank. You.

    The bureau is a stunner.

So I don't want to do anything but polish it up a bit. The toychest I would like to restain because it's a little aged.

I will be back to tell all about my money situation and my charity shop/carboot adventures!
