its where you get paid to rate music. theres a link on the extra income board. great fun you listen to unsigned bands give your opion on them then get paid. some genres pay more than others (its a low paying one at the moment) and the more stars you get the more you get paid but its great fun and an easy way to make extra cash. will certainly help towards challenges.
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed

Thanks! I really ought to look at that extra income thread - just don't seem to have time to take any more on at the mo, but when I start "proper" work, I am hoping I will actually have more free time and can look at doing some more of this stuff!

  • Our challenge for 2008 is inspired by a book by American author Judith Levine called 'Not Buying It'. and I am going to keep a diary about it. The challenge - not to buy anything - well actually only buy local, fair trade, organic, second hand, make or eco. Only buy essentials. There is me and hubby and nearly to be 10 year old and it is going to be a challenge for a book loving, magazine buying person. Also what is essentials? Anyway I have just ordered another book about not shopping buy an English author. You see we aren't big spenders but we are already thinking about it and it's making us think differently. We are broke, jobless etc. but challenged - anyone got any tips etc. Also I want to be eco, enviro friendly etc.

Have a look on the Old Style board, I think a few people this year have attempted this type of challenged based on the same book. Might be worth doing a search and pick up some tips from those that have been there, done that!!

    Good luck with it!

    What she said.

Actually, 'Not Buying It' is one of that genre of books which doesn't disappoint...it is a great read.

    Hi,
I like the idea of a 'free christmas' challenge. Have already signed up for the sealed pot challenge starting dec 1st. I think these two would go together well and would save me worrying about how to pay for christmas 2008. Have tried grocery challenge a few times, but never seem to get below budget. Might try again in January.

I've been trying for a free Christmas this year, but only decided to try last month. I think I left myself a bit short of time.

Definitely going to go for it next year :T
