New Year MSE Challenges.....

Options
Hi Everybody.

I was just wondering if any of you MSE's out there had any ideas for challenges for the NEW YEAR ????

I have missed most of the challenges this year as me being a newbie, but I am involved in the £2 pound savers club..

So guys any thoughts ????
Why do people feel the need to keep up with the Jones's ?? Why do some people feel the need to out do there friends and family ?? is this real happiness ??

  • Survive Christmas at this stage! I actually make a point of not setting new years resolutions cos I always fail at them! Instead just try to do my best each day, try to forgive myself when it goes wrong & learn from my mistakes. That way I'm constantly learning and moving forward rather than feeling a failure IYKWIM?! Seems to work for me though..

ooh I like the sound of that one mumzy ... would we be saving a certain coin or coins?? eg. all 20ps or 1ps/2ps/5ps .... or would we do that £1 on a certain day thing, where you put all the £1 coins that are in your purse on a friday for example into a pot .... or has anyone got any other ideas how we could do it?? Am loving the idea though ;):D

Olympic (a few months I expect), Moozies (weekly recurring) and a long-term saving one - could be doable I think.

Just checked, it's the 08/08/08 (very well timed) so that'll be perfect for a January 8th start :)

I like the idea of empyting my purse on a particular day and not touching it till xmas next year. think I will find that easier than trying everyday.

I am up for any challenges, the more the better if it helps me clear my debt quicker.:j
Just starting to face up to my debts.
Aim for December is to just try and get through without running up anymore debts at this expensive time. Also going to spend my time off over xmas working out a plan for next year.

Would like to be debt free by 30 ( 3 years to go)
