Probably because the data TC held (and that had been passed over to the CAA/administrators) was crap.0

As above , the supplied data was described as "very poor"

I've got the same response on my tracker from the 7th October. The response says 60 working days on mine and the claim has been open for 40 days. 60 WORKING days from the 7th October is 27th December. I'm worried to see people posting they are starting to be asked for details on their claim (something we could have all done on the 1st day of claiming but there wasn't anyway of sending any backup info.) and the clock has been put back to 60 days again! So could this go on until March 2020?
Logged in today an it says claim registered for 1 working day/with 59 working days to go !!:A0 -
Yea CAA have said ignore that, its just the way their tracker works0

My claim has gone from 'Awaiting review' to 'pending approval'. Anyone had that before know what it means0
-
Also, CAA have said the 60 day clock stops while they wait for info they requested. So if you took 2 days to reply, you need to give them 2 extra days beyond the 60 to refund you0

Terasag,
That is terrible, really feel for you ,
I'm still awaiting payment but not holding my breath,
I have lost all faith in ATOL and the cca, this us turning into a right shambles, .0 -

Great to hear so pleased for you they seem to be trickling through at last. Can you give a little more information regarding your circumstances for all of us still sitting in the dark like when was your holiday due, did you pay TC directly and how did you pay (Credit Card or Debit Card etc) would be helpful for others (well me really) to hopefully see similarities in the circumstances and not feel so desperate.0 -
Bobblebob my claim status was at 'pending approval' for 6 days. Just changed to 'paid' but no indication of what or when. Credit card, 2 claims, 1 set of paperwork requested, plus 1 authority to pay. Seems to take a week between each process / request, but took them over 6 weeks before the first request for anything. No consistency of claims handling between the 2 claims, with the same company. Comments on Twitter seem to be getting more angry by the day - whilst time consuming some communication would have helped and released people to get on with processing refunds. I guess all the scammers haven't helped - I just hope they're named, shamed and jailed.0
