Got my other claim paid in full today. Just pleased this saga is all over. Total out of pocket by £700 ish. Good luck to everyone waiting for their money and hopefully it is paid asap.

Congratulations ! Did you send the section 7 form in? I seem to be following your claim status by about 5-7 days so am hoping to see mine change any day now. Just wondered if you did sent in any further information regarding bank details or they paid you into the account you specified on your original claim on 7/10 ?

No didnt have to send in Section 7. Just proof of my actual booking with bank statements

Hi, Just an update as promised. Both Thomas Cook holiday bookings have been refunded thankfully. Claim one they asked for copies of Atol certificate and payments etc twice and claim number two they never asked for anything at all. Very random.

If you were abroad at the time of the Thomas Cook collapse on flight only trip and CAA repatriated you the next day. Does Section 75 apply for a claim from the credit card company that you paid for the flights with? Bank of Scotland are saying if CAA brought you back they won't refund you.

For some reason, I have just had my perfectly valid reply to this removed after 2.5 months, along with an infraction. God knows why. So I will merely repeat the same advice but this time as one word:

    NO

Nice of him/her to come back to the forum at 11am today and report it just because he/she didnt like the answer. As an aside, I hope you didn't get a penny given you got a flight home.
