Use the Forum Jump button (one near the top and one near the bottom of this page) to get back to the forum thread list. NEWBIES - HOW TO UPLOAD LINKS TO PHOTOS/SCANS TO MSE
To upload a photo/scan link, you first need to host it on a free photo hosting site (like Dropbox, Imurg or Tinypic), copy the URL, paste it here, but change the http to hxxp and we'll do the conversion. Newbies can't directly upload links to photos/scans until they've a few posts under their belt.
Oh ... and using a phone to browse the site can cause problems.. so please try a laptop/PC

My guess is UKCPM and you only needed to search the forum to read hundreds of defences and successful cases where they have tried claims. As I said:
So why not try UKCPM hirer as your starter for ten, as a search term here? You need a hirer defence so search the forum for cases with those keywords.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

All this advice is the usual overkill. If you were the driver (and you probably were) pay up. If you want to persist that you were not, then go to the company who hired you the car and get documentation showing the dates the car was hired to you. Take these to court and prove the car was not hired to you on the day and time in question. If it was hired to you at the time and you still deny being the driver then you need to find out who was driving it if it wasn't you. You had the keys, nobody else.0

Start your defence ? You either parked the car or you didn't park the car and if you didn't then tell the court who did. Other than that you have no defence.0 -
