Good luck with the move tomorrow.
Just a thought about moving into London with the car. What happens with the congestion zone? I assume you're in a zoned area? Do people who live there get a season ticket or something? Would hate for you to be stung with charges!

Move day is here. Quite excited but absolutely shattered as I kept waking up every hour from 3am and only got to bed at midnight. Looking forward to a good nights sleep!August 2019: £28.8k

Happy moving day mate. 🥂1

Thanks all! In the flat, it’s absolutely mad. Ridiculous location. Has a Thames view if you hang out of the window

Loads of storage, even has a walk in wardrobe. If it was a two bedroom flat it would be the dream. Came with everything, even cutlery, so can take the M&S plates back and Chuck more at savings. So happy :-)
Got a bit wasted with mate this evening. He was helping me move. Great evening catching up and arranged a walk along Thames with mates tomorrow. Loving life.
Seeing the silhouette of London on the m11 on the way in was mind blowing. Made me feel like a kid in a sweetshop.
Only negative is it is so big that it will be expensive to heat
So pleased though. August 2019: £28.8k

Sounds perfect
Your own place, a clean financial plate, and a new job.
And in a funny way, lockdown might help you with the temptation to go a bit mad.
I don't think you'll be short of company in that flat before long either.2
