I have just had a chat with the Manager at Dunelm, (Landowner) who said she sent a request via email to TPS for them to cancel the claim, but she heard nothing back. She said I could go in tomorrow to take a photo of the email on the PC, she just couldnt send it straight to me due to data protection (possibly fear). Would this be useful? If so, should I put 2 witnesses on DQ or does that just refer to the people who will be in court on the day (just me so 1)?Should I just include the pic of email in witness statement if it will be helpful to show the landowner requested it to be cancelled?PRIVATE 'PCN'? OK then that will have to do the trick and ask her if you can also take a wider angle to prove the photo was taken in Dunelm and not mocked up on your home PC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

will do, sent link to potential beavis signage, is that ok? also link to vids is up0 -
DQ sent.
I went to see the manager of Dunelm, she printed the emails out for me.
She said she would ask for the claim to be cancelled but the email only asks for TPS to look into it for her, then she just recieved an automated response and nothing else. So Im not sure if it would be as much use as I though, although it does show I have tried talking to the land owners.
Working on witness statement.
Did you manage to check the videos linked above? I would like to remove them once you have checked. For privacy sake.
Thanks again0 -

Yes.
The first photo and the last two videos, is all I would use! The others showed signs on poles in the middle of the car park.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Witness Statement with out personal info entered.
Im struggling to find info/ evidence reg Beavis, is there a specific place to get it?
Here's what Ive got so far, any advice welcome, Thanks
In the County Court at XXXXX
Claim No. XXXXXXXX
Between
Civil Enforcement Ltd (Claimant)
and
XXXX (Defendant)
Witness Statement
1. I am XXXX, of [Address], [Postcode], the Defendant in this matter. I will say as follows:
2. On [DATE], I visited the Dunelm and B&M, and parked my vehicle registration no, XXXXX in the customer car park.
3. Customers are granted free parking whilst shopping but the signage is so totally inadequate it appears to be an open free carpark, please see photographic and video evidence of this attached as Exhibit A, B and C.
4. Upon receipt of a parking charge notice from the Claimant I contacted the landowners, Dunelm. The store Manager advised she would request for the charges to be looked into and cancelled, but they only recieved a standard automated response from Total Parking Solutions, who have elected to pursue this matter via litigation. . Evidence of this correspondence by email is attached as Exhibit D.
5. It is my position that, under the doctrine of promissory estoppel, the Claimant has no standing, or cause of action, to litigate in this matter.
6. I invite the Court to dismiss this claim in its entirety, and to award my costs of attendance at the hearing, such as are allowable pursuant to CPR 27.14.
Statement of Truth
I believe that the facts stated in this Witness Statement are true.
