Natty please go to the doctor's or walk in if there is one near you
.......
Seriously Kaz I'm ok honey. Just wish I wasnt perspiring so much. I cant tell what is hot flushes and what is the lurgy now..lol
Believe me I would be the first one up the drs or walk in if I felt it needed it.
Hung Jean's on the line to dry and now have my coat and dressing gown going round in the washing machine. Then that's all the washing done. Ironing wise I'm going to pack it all and iron it while away. Much easier that way..lol
Sorted out bags to put gibble in and now have the 80's music channel on, so I dont get distracted..

Quick lunchtime check in here
Bed made
Washing done, waiting to be hung out then more to go in
Dinner in SC (a big experiment so we'll see later)
Been out and got legs waxed and toenails painted
Now to eat, coffee and get going again.0 -
I was mostly out for work today, but was briefly at home and managed to hoover the ground floor. Better than nothing given the frankly excessive number of cats in residence.
Next job will be to unblock the machine as the brush is now full of pet hair. I do have a robot thing but need to unblock that too. I always wanted to cut out the middleman and hoover the dogs but they are not keen.
Hope everyone else has had a productive day?My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Evening all.
Natty - are you sure that you are ok, hun? X
Welcome back, redofromstart.
Busy day at work. Flying has consisted of 1 x wm (mostly dried outside), cooking dinner (not particularly well received) and a quick s&s of the kitchen (actually more s than s&s ).
DH is out, DD is having an early night. I’m tempted to do the same and finish my book.
List as long as my arm for the weekend.0 -
Evening all. I'm here, feeling considerably better (but still not 100% fit) after a rotten week of migraine
Welcome back, redofromstart
Mademoiselle, when I read your morning posts I am always amazed at how much you've already achieved - but then I remember that your clocks are an hour ahead of ours :rotfl:
My achievements today:
- S&S'd bathroom and kitchen
- made an executive decision on furniture for the downstairs bedroom - what to keep, what to buy new - which fortunately DH was also happy with
- packed DH off to the gym
- drove to our neighbouring town and ordered the furniture - and got one bargain item in their sale :money:
- bought a few other small items in town
- came home, ate lunch and slept for an hour
- took Rosie for her walk
- watered the pots in the back garden
- trimmed the lavender bushes, wearing my purple gardening gloves (Valli, surely this trumps matching pegs?) at the same time as cooking our main meal
- also managed to do a quick clearance of the tall weeds down the side of the drive before it got dark; will tackle the low-growing ones like dandelions another day.
Tomorrow I have a training day. Yes, I know it's Saturday... One of my friends is doing the driving, so I can sit back and relax (or go to sleep) for an hour each way, and I will buy them lunch.
Before I go to bed tonight I will re-write my own jobs list on my newly acquired Information Central pad: not cheap, but it makes a good mouse mat and means less loose pieces of paper floating around on/around/behind/under my desk. The old one (which lasted me 3 years) was nicer colours, though
Hope everyone has a good weekend - and safe journey to Natty xx0 -
Glad you are on the mend Iona x
Welcome back Redofromstart x
Ground floor dysoned
Been flying at dancegran’s today. She is still unwell. Doctor came, he thinks it is viral but is arranging blood tests next week.
Gas man came to sort her boiler but couldn’t find any faults as cared had pressed reset again.
My washing machine e engineer came butdidnt bring the necessary part with him. When I booked I checked that he would bring a new door and was told affirmatively
Earliest appointment is now Wednesday so 14 days after the door exploded..
DH has painted the gate, fence, shed and himself.
I have a scan in the morning so I better get myself sorted. Night night all.0 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
I didn't report back the other day but I didn't fly either.
Just woke up and remembered I am doing some of the catering for an event today. Will see what I can create from what is in, and have asked DH to get a loaf.
Other things today if possible including grass cutting and car cleaning.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all.
Up but not necessarily with it yet. Cuppa in hand.
Today I am taxiing for DD at lunchtime / early afternoon which inconveniently splits my day, so I’ll try to fit a few jobs in before then.
Not sure what’s on the list - HHI for sure, wm is on, bedroom is sooooo dusty after the carpenter being on the landing this week, and I would love to sort a cs bag. Thanks for the reminder, Jazee - my car still hasn’t had its vacuum out even though I’ve been saying it since - oh months, to be sure.
Have a lovely day all. It’s a beautiful morning here, hopefully the same with you.0 -
Still sitting on my backside, must wash last nights dishes.Spend less now, work less later.0

Ionafan, you're right I'm an hour ahead but I'm also a morning person, if it's not done by lunchtime it probably won't get done.0
