Errands run and a frog munched to boot. The sc provided dinner for us and DH’s cousin along with some of the veg that I got all imaginative with on Tuesday.

DH has vacuumed the landing with his industrial vacuum cleaner so that will need to be done again. But it will do for now.

DW has just finished. Lunch boxes prepped but they are imaginative. DH seems to have accepted (his own) challenge to eat anything vaguely useful from the fridge. He’s only been wfh for 2 days, for goodness sake.

Cuppa and a slice of cake now, then it will be bed and book.
  • Morning all,

This thread is a huge support to me, I would be gutted if it went but I am guilty of not posting enough at the moment, will try more as I would hate to lose it.

TFI Friday! It's a sunny day here and my early finish :T DW has been unloaded, DH is at home today so I have written him a long list of chores to crack through :p

We are taking the kiddies to a local funfair after school, then home for burgers and chips, it's a surprise for them :j

Have fab fridays all (ps my weekend list is mahoosive already so will definitely be posting then!)

    Take care friends xx

DW emptied. Remaining bits WULTD. Washing sorted for later. List given to DH as he is coming home early via the big town. I’ve pulled my hair into temporary submission so that I don’t frighten young children and innocent animals. I’ve not been too successful.

Off to work as soon as I have ejected DD to the bus stop. Have a lovely day all.
  • Morning all

    Up, showered and dressed
    Shower cleaned
    Loo cleaned.
Sink full of dirty clothes that I sorted yesterday so once all that has gone into WM I will give sinks a wipe down.
Plumber called as I have a leak and water coming through the ceiling. Water in that part of the house turned off so immediate panic over.

I have 2 bags of stuff and an old but working chest freezer so going to contact Emmaus (local charity) to come and collect it. So am feeling motivated to sort some more stuff out for them to take away too. They usually give you an appointment to collect from you for a couple of weeks time so I will have a deadline to work to.

Off to put WM on and then breakfast.

    See you later
  • Oh **** Plumber off sick.

Morning all, still crooke - not sure what it is.

But I have a droopy left side of mouth now, swelling of bottom lip is semi gone now hence the reason I can see the droopy mouth and left side of face. I have my suspicions as to what it could be as I had it many years ago - Bells Palsy. Apart from the swelling of the lip it was identical. Although DH did think at one point that I had had a TIA (mini stroke) but it was the swelling that confused us. Plus I haven't got weekness elsewhere. Well nothing that I wouldn't notice as odd anyway. Still have the cold symptoms, as well as the coughing. So am going to keep taking the cough medicine, paracetamol and ibruprofen today.

I managed to drive to Asda late last night to get some milk, we had run out, and I was actually ok. So I think that was ok.

I still have things to do today but I'll do them inbetween rests and cups of tea. I will be adding to my list, please don't worry about length of it I doubt it will all get done today.

    1. Good morning everyone, I am a lapsed flylady. The last time I flyed properly was when Toots was still giving out the stars :p

I have really struggled with the house in the last year or so since I took on a full time project for what was meant to be the short term. The contract keeps on getting extended, the house slides into worse CHAOS every week and I feel like a hamster endlessly spinning the wheel in a very dirty cage!

Can I creep back in please? No pom poms to wave, but some very impressive dust balls...
