I have been good since last Saturday.... but I think the devil has plans for me tonight!

I am just doing SW chips, steak, onions and mushrooms hoping this protects me from the chocolate, crisps and alcohol in the house!

Have a great Saturday night xxxx

That's an easy decision then. Feed your face on your dinner, have a tiny amount of chocolate or crisps if you must and then go out and buy wine syns tomorrow. 25% off in Sainsburys :money: Deferred gratification. :D

There is a reason I have no wine or gin..... very long story so you may wish to ignore... we are doing a self-build, we got the land cheap as people thought the planning permission had run out... but the people had put a sewage system in, which was to serve their old house, and the new build. This meant that legally, a substantive start on the building had started... so the planning permission was live.

We've plodded on, and got the house and garage build, whilst the garage is ready to move into, the house is still a shell... so we were moving into the garage, OH tapped into the sewage system, and realised there was a major issue when it rained.... it has taken 6 weeks of experimental digging to find out and resolve the fault (trees had grown into the pipe)... so most of our stuff including the alcohol is in the garage, we remain in our old house and now I am thinking it is stupid to move into a garage at the coldest part of the year!
