Hi everyone - am back and low low after two weeks of holiday and one week of not daring to go back to Sw I did today and 4 lb on and will have to pay if don't drop it by next week.....while realise it is not the worst gain I am so down....its times like this I really go down with my moods and up with the weight.

Made a large chicken leek, carrot and rice bung in slow cooker thing and had for dinner last night with cauli and mushy peas, some this lunch with one slice bread and will have tonight with sprouts and cauli.

Hope everyone is well and not struggling....my hubby has said that he thinks my long walks during hols have made things better than they could have been....

Just done a long post and have lost it - grr!!!

Kathrynha sorry to hear about your DD. Hope things are not as bad as you're expecting. Well done on the loss.

I'm sure the walk with the dog was a great distraction PIB.

Great news for your son Sary. I'm glad I'm not a youngster looking for a job now - it was so much easier when I was young.

    Welcome back Vegastare.

Have had a good day in France but spent far too much money as usual! Had a lovely meal but not exactly SW friendly, although the main course was pretty good - baked grey bream in white wine (but not much of it!), boiled rice, green beans, carrots & cabbage.

Have had another bad week synwise and pretty certain it will be a gain tomorrow - thinking about giving WI a miss this week but see how I feel about it in the morning.

Well done Mrs R. Hadn't realised you were back - don't remember seeing you post recently but of course you're very welcome.

Today's not going to be very SW friendly food wise today as DH picked up stuff we don't usually eat while we were in France yesterday so I want to get it out of the way asap after WI so I've more chance to getting back on plan from tomorrow! Won't post my menu for today - think I'm just going to write today off and start from fresh tomorrow!!!

Will post back later with WI result but as said not expecting it to be good but I'm well in target range so hopefully won't be out!

    Morning all,

Kathrynha I do hope DD results aren’t as bad as you fear. Must be tough for you.

PIB I still have 1DS at home, but miss having a house full still. I think going back to work has been my saviour as I’m too busy and then tired to notice as much. Genuinely feels like my heart aches that DS3 in particular isn’t home. He would like to be, but cannot afford to commute to his work from where we live., and he’s only 21.

Well not sure what today will fully be plans wise :
    B - wm toast with spread (2)
    Snack - banana
L - hm soup; skyr (didn’t have it yest) (1.5)
D - no idea. Might be eggs? Have my exercise class after work so will have to be easy to make and quick as not home til almost 8pm

Off into work now for me. Catch up with you later.

Ooh, and ideas for lunches out : prezzo do low cal pasta and salads, as do Bella Italia, but I’m sure you’ll find something.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

  • Thx for supportive comments :o. Back on it, trying to change things up a little. Someone at group mentioned Corn Thins to me, didn’t know them. They are Big! You are allowed upto 5 as your HEb and are very nice spread with some HEa cheese and some Marmite/Vegemite. Plus they are on offer currently in Waitrose for £1/pack in true :money:fashion :D. They are located near all the crackers. Makes a change from my daily 2x Hifi bars.:D

Realised I was eating figs like they were going out of fashion, thinking they were speed 🙈. All these little stumbles do not do much for weightloss, still learning ;). Been reading thru my SW books just to refresh what is speed and what is not. And fridge is full of lots of fresh stuff, so no excuse to not eat well and on plan :).

    Evening all

Only lunch was off plan in the end! Had steak, chips, beans, onions & mushrooms for dinner so definitely on plan.

Was surprised to find it was only a pound on this morning so actually still in bottom half of target range (just about!).

If I can lose 0.5lb a week until the end of November I will be able to go to Goa with a 6lb window for my All Inclusive holiday! Think that's the motivation I need to stick to plan for the next 5 WIs before my holiday:D.
