I think it's a great turnaround. We've had offers on junk for too long. :(

Me too! No doubt the offers on junk will continue but we can just ignore them, same as we do now!

Off to hospital this morning for a bone density scan to see if any of the calcium in my blood has been coming from them - but the Endrochronologist was fairly certain it is just from my parathyroid as I haven't broken any bones!

    Today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - HEB; F; S
L - jacket potato; beans & salad - lettuce, cucumber, tomato, spring onion, pepper - F;S
D - veggie biryani - rice; onions; carrots; celery; potatoes; peas; spices - F;S;P

    HEA1 - milk
    HEB1 - porridge oats

Still another HEA1 & 2 available if wanted as it's a Green Day but probably won't have them; although might be nice to have a bowl of cereal later if it's another hungry day, LOL!

    Morning all,
Welcome back SSM and amazing loss!! :T

Hi Kathrynha, sorry to hear about DD :(

Hand in the air here as another hungry one. Had a good day yesterday, but food was too light during the day (still waiting for payday next week). Think the lack of lots of fresh food in the fridge is definitely affecting me, as only buying what we absolutely need atm. Made the fatal mistake of nipping to buy bread & bananas and got some YS bagels. Promptly had 1 1/2 while cooking tea!! I felt like such a failure and knew it was self sabotage in full flow.

However, in the spirit of full accountability this little piggie’s meal plan yest:
B - porridge, apple slices & cinnamon HEB & part of HEA
L - HM butternut squash & carrot soup
Snack - v.small banana; dark choc rice bar (3.5)
    Pre-dinner binge: 1.5 bagels (17?)
D - HM cottage pie (1 for gravy)

    Today’s plan:
B - porridge HEB with apple slices & cinnamon milk from HEA
    L - HM soup; melon & mango
    Snack - banana
D - chicken & bacon pasta (allowing 3 for sauce as DS is cooking it)

Anyway, managed to lose 1lb this week, but Friday it was 2, so am definitely moving WI to Thursday or Friday again. I def retain water/weight post-weekend for some reason, even when I am totally in plan.

Another here hating the darker mornings and nights. Felt like the middle of the night when we woke up today.

    Have a good Tuesday.

Oh sary, glad to read your post as I've been exactly the same.
So hungry but I've put it down to being so cold since I came back from my holiday.

Craving really stodgy, fatty foods but I need to retrain myself as I know I've put weight on.

1 stone to go and I don't want to give up like I have in the past!

    Morning all.

What's bubbs going to see at the theatre?

    Afternoon everyone.

Welcome back SSM and brilliant loss!

I'm not getting on here so much lately as new dog shows an interest in everything and isn't quite past the chewing stage yet, so my laptop has to be hidden away! Like having a toddler in the house....

Made the PON chicken ham and leek pie last night (Quorn chicken for OH) - it was lovely but I had to substitute frozen flaky for filo pastry . I only had a little but I imagine that blew the syn 'budget'.

    Today's Menu
B 1/2 grapefruit,1/2 tsp sugar, boiled eggs, crispbreads with a little spread
L Don't know yet - not hungry really so maybe some HM veg soup
D Fish and chips (using Aldi's frozen sole which I think used to be 4.5 syns but got re-synned at some point) I'll check it later

    Have a good day all

Oh i am out Weds for food as going Theatre but NOT going all you can eat:rotfl::rotfl:

Ooh, Bubbs what are you going to see?

I asked OH if he fancied going to the ballet with me (Nutcracker at Christmas) and he said it was a 'firm NO!' Apparently not his 'thing' and didn't I have a friend for that sort of thing. Bear in mind chums, that he said this to the person who goes on mental road trips to more dodgy places than you can imagine, and trolled around a cold and windy auto jumble twice in the past month!! He's got a cheek hasn't he? Seems cheeky men are a theme eh sunshine?

Garlic and pepper is 4.5, Garlic and herb is 4 and lemon and parsley is 5 esmy.:)

Going hungry is far too much temptation sary. Hopefully you can stock up very soon on SW snacks. :) Good to lose though.:T

I think we'll all be craving heavier meals as the weather turns colder curlgirl. I've bought a piece of gammon this week specially so I can make soup from the stock.

Do you save syns SSM? It's a good idea so you can treat yourself at weekends like bubbs does with picky tea. It depends whether you need a daily treat or not.

I did well yesterday and manged to keep it syn free. I did meet friends in the pub but I stuck to coffee.

I feel as if I'm maintaining OK but probably should try and lose a few pounds to get down my range. I'm still being kind to myself though after getting the all clear from GP. :)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, 2 boiled eggs (P)
L: cold pork (P), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D: Aldi skinny, sausages, mash (F) carrots, onions, broccoli, cabbage, kale (S)
    Syns: sausages 1, gravy 4?

Never sure how much to syn gravy. Today's it's just granules but usually I use meat juices. I'd rather syn generously just in case.

I know... but I am like our beanie and love rubbish food!

It is scary just how quick the weight goes back on.

I lost an amazing 10 lbs this week... OH told me it was 1 lb fat, the rest being wee, poo, and water retention!!

It is a good job I love the flipping man!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    WOW!! well done:T:T:T:T

Thanks Bubbs for the veg info so looks like I'll be OK for Thursday.

Hospital was fine - I got there a bit early and only waited a few minutes. I was actually out 10 minutes earlier than my appointment. Obviously I've no idea how the scan looked! The endrochonologist is very slow with letting my GP know what's going on! Last time I saw him about 10 days ago he still hadn't heard from the hospital and I'd been nearly 3 weeks earlier.
