Welcome back SSM. There is always room for new people and returners, the same as SW groups.

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats with fruit & quark - HEB; S; F; P
    L - Sweetcorn and smoked haddock chowder - F; P; S
    D - LO chicken; chips; beans & tomatoes - P; F; S

    HEA1 & part 2: milk
    HEB - porridge oats
Syns - none planned:T. really need to stick with this or at least not have more than 2 or 3 just to get back on plan properly!

Been MIA again. I am still trying to stick to plan, but life is getting in the way. Daughter is having lots of issues, and we are at the hospital most days.
Hoping to get to weigh in tomorrow though, even though it won't be good news

Sorry to hear about your DD kathrynha and your falls beanie:(. Just keep plodding and keep in touch. I'm sure it helps.:)
Thanks, I am good, just hoping the motivation stays with me for more than a few days!

Good to see you back SSM. Try to think of it as a formula for balanced healthy eating rather than being on a diet. People give up diets but healthy eating is good for us all. Planning is key and eating plenty.:)
How far are we into the challenge?
    :D

I don't think we set an end date but maybe when it's November we'll start a Winter thread?? The lovely Chris has lots of family issues at the moment so we're not keeping a chart just posting our progress and menus and generally giving each other support. :)

I'm hoping today will be a normal, on plan day but not 100% sure about this evening. We're meeting friends but I'm hoping to stick to coffee.;)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porage with HEA milk
L: cold pork (P), fried potatoes (F) with fried LO veg and pickles (S)
D: baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), cauli steak, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli (S)
    Syns: hopefully none:)

Thanks beanie. I don't know what anyone else thinks but people are more likely to join new threads especially if they're thinking of trying to lose a few pounds for :xmassmile

Thanks Beanie. I'm only around for November and then off on my holiday (finally) early December.

Had a change of plan at lunchtime. DH saw the smoked haddock and asked if we were have kedgeree so that's what we had. Obviously much less convoluted than the chowder so a win win! although not as much Speed. Really enjoyed it, haven't had it for ages.
