  • Today's WI - I lost another 1lb.
Maybe it's minimal, but still better than putting it on ;)

No Maman I don't use the juices - they just get binned! I put them in a bowl until they solidify a bit and then they go in the compost bin, along with the onions.

I love how tender the meat is and of course no temptation with the flabby skin! I don't do skin either though but DH loves it when it's crispy!

I think I might put a rice pudding in the oven this afternoon as I'm having a really "hungry" day today - HEA2; F! Had some of the LO soup and also LO stew, along with some LO carrot & swede mash for lunch. But an hour or so later I was feeling hungry again so have had a couple of Ryvita with a Lighter than Light Laughing Cow (0.5 HEB + 1).

Well done Sleazy - a loss is a loss no matter how much.

Strange how people are feeling hungry Denise , maybe it's the weather cooling down.:)

I like a baked rice pudding. The ones on the hob are too sloppy for me, I like it quite dry. My ancient recipe is a pint of milk, rice and sugar with nutmeg on top. Do you use sweetener and what quantities of milk and rice? DH will think it's his birthday if I made a rice pudding! :D He's been a star eating all the SW food I put in front of him and making me an on plan breakfast every day.

Maman I use 100g of rice; about 1.5 Tbs of sweetener which because it's split between us doesn't need synning! and 2 HEAs of skimmed milk, so 700ml. If I've planned it in advance I use Almond milk as you can have 400ml each! Used to be a litre but they cut it right back this year!

I just put the rice and sweetener in a dish and give it a stir then pour in the milk and give it another stir before grating nutmeg on top. Cook at about 150 for a couple of hours.

Well done Tweets on the loss. Enjoy the match.

Just finished the rice pudding and it was lovely but not quite as nice as when it's made with almond milk! Definitely much creamier with the almond milk - one of the women at group uses the coconut drink to make hers (her DD is allergic to almonds so she can't use that).

Glad you enjoyed it. :) I've never tried almond milk, does it taste of almond?

Shame about Lallana tweets but at least you took 2 points off them. That'll please your noisy neighbours. ;)

That's why I wont try almond milk I don't like the taste of nuts .

Yes glad we didn't lose :T

    Hate both Shcity and Liverpool.

My mate wanted West Ham to beat Everton so Marco Silva would get sacked. Everton fans hate him . So he not happy Silva got a reprieve he reckons if Silva stays Everton will get relegated :(

I'm not keen on almonds but the milk is really creamy in rice pudding and I don't think it tastes anything like almonds.
