  • Bubbs yes that is them, well done. And I’ve decided once OH is back from his travels I want him to take some pics of me, for me to look at. Or perhaps even of us together. I just don’t see in the mirror what the rest of the world sees :o.

But on a positive note, NSV, bought some size 14 knickers in the Sainsb 25% off sale :rotfl:, about time too.

    Hiya everyone :hello:
Been lurking for a bit but haven’t posted. Mum forced me back on plan for damage limitation :D
Dress fitting on 2 November and I’m 2.5 stone (well, probably actually nearer to 2 stone now) heavier than when I bought it :D Been working incredibly hard at the gym- I’m lifting (weights) so not necessarily always 100% on plan as I need to get my extra protein and carbs in (I go to the gym at odd times to fit round work) but trying to stick to plan as close as possible with eating extra protein things are synnable (protein pots of hard boiled egg and spinach, small packets of Fridge Raiders which are high in protein- 2.5 syns- and Pepperamis which are also high protein and 4 syns)
Quite sore at the minute as I beasted cardio today- succumbed to a protein shake and a protein bar so today was a bit of a write off food wise :D
Never mind. Tomorrow be another day. :)
    Na night all x

  • Our consultant is always telling us that we need to eat enough so lose. Boy did this ring true for me this week, physically unable to eat due to bug/food poisoning, having kissed goodbye to the food I did eat last Saturday, I managed to lose a staggering 1/2lb:eek: Did not expect it to be that low, felt very disheartened.

However, today is start of new week, so will hopefully make up for it this week. Desperately want to hit 5st for Christmas.:o

    Morning all.

Good luck Mrs R is losing enough to fit into your dress by 2 November.

GTQ sorry to hear you've been unwell. It always amazes me that you don't lose very much when you've eaten so little but it definitely seems to be the case!

Change of plan for today's food as had been planning a Green day but as we had chips last night decided we didn't need them again today so now changed the menu to a normal EE day. Also DD2 is coming down this morning and not sure whether or not she will be staying for lunch so need to do something I've got plenty of!

B - stuffed mushrooms - mushrooms S; couscous F; LO roasted peppers chopped S; LO roast chicken chopped P; also had some of the extra couscous on the side
L - mixed cold meats (another thing DH picked up in France!) 3.5 Syns for my portion; LO roast chicken P with salad - lettuce, cucumber, tomato, celery, tomato - all S; balsamic to dress it
D - Chicken curry made with the last of the LO roast chicken P; onions, ginger, garlic, tinned toms - all S; various dried spices F; rice F

    HEA - milk
HEB - none planned but might have something completely different like some dried apricots or some nuts
Syns - Serrano ham; chorizo sausage 3.5 syns; either gin or rum with diet mixer

Feeling determined to lose something this week!

6 1/2 lb, I know it is is achievable in theory, but like you, my losses are generally quite low anyway :(

    Morning,

GTQ I was sure you would have lost much more after being so poorly and eating so little. It would have at least been the silver lining to having been ill. Perhaps it will show up in the days to come still?

Well yesterday's plan changed somewhat. I had porridge for lunch instead of for breakfast. I've got the last portion of soup today for lunch instead.

Can someone check the Fibre One bars for me please? Are the popcorn and choc ones a HEB? I bought some in the local discount store. I've compared the nutrition between the popcorn bars and the cake bars and there's very little difference, so wondering why one is a HEB and the other isn't? Thanks!

Popcorn Fibre One bars are a HEB sary.

You had half a stone to lose GTQ and now you're past that. You'll get there. Go for it!!:)

Good to see you back posting MrsR. You've disproved my theory that people that don't post have fallen off the wagon.:)

Glad you only had a very small gain denise. :)

So did I! Oh well, on the plus, I had no option but to buy new jeans as I was in great danger of losing my others walking down the street:rotfl: :rotfl: The joy of walking with a smaller pair on and not pulling them is a great morale booster:D

Hoping it will reflect next week as now eating "properly" again.

I thought I'd post the reply for sary quickly in case it was urgent, now back to my menu.:)

I need to check how many weeks before I need to go to WI because I feel as if I'm just comfortably maintaining, probably around the top of target if not above. :o

I enjoyed my day out yesterday. I started well with salad and coffee for lunch and then a G&T in the early evening with slimline BUT... I could have come home then and cooked something SW friendly but I didn't.:o Line drawn, back on it today although as I'm having an easy dinner (putting off shopping until tomorrow) then a bit low on Speed. It's proper bubble& squeak today as the base is mash so everything mixes in well.

Not sure about the syns. We're off to football tonight (another rearranged game:mad:). I might have a Crunchie (fun size) with my coffee. I might even avoid Friday wine syns as I'll be out most of the evening.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: ham (P), pickles (S), bubble & squeak (S,F)
D: sausages (1), SW chips, baked beans (F) might have some mushrooms (S)
    Syns: tbc
