    Evening everyone
Thanks for the kind words- I’ve just been trying desperately hard these last few weeks to maximise my losses before my dress fitting on Saturday. I know I’ve still got about a stone and a half to go before I’m back at the weight I was when I bought it and I don’t have long (plus Christmas in the way!) but I know it’s not impossible :)
I’ve been off work on holiday today, just trying to tie up myriad loose ends that I never have time for when I’m at work. I planned to go the gym but Amazon put paid to that by not bringing my parcels until 7pm! I had a Chinese takeaway for tea to celebrate my first year results- I got my second module results and was really surprised to see I had attained a good pass. I didn’t do very well I felt as I had some issues with my tutor and then my dad being so ill I struggled a bit. So I’m pretty happy with myself:)

    Today’s food:
B: HEXB 40g Weetabix minis with HEXA milk and rasps
L: Chicken chunks, chips and salad. Water, 2 x Hifis (6)
T: Chicken chop suey (9.5) boiled rice and salad. Mango chunks and jelly (2) NAS cherryade
    Syns: 17.5
    Night all xx

Thanks, i have been reading about doing one in the IP supposed to be soooooo nice and cause its pressure cooker just put in and leave:D:D

Would think it would be very quick doing it in the IP. I haven't got one only a really old pressure cooker and haven't even tried a whole chicken in that! Hopefully it'll be as tender as doing it in a SC. Let us know how it turns out please.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs with spinach on toast - HEB + 4 (large slices); P; S
L - need to find something as for some reason I really messed up on my menu plan and had beans on toast! Don't really want to sun extra bread:rotfl:
    D - Baked bacon, pea & spinach risotto - P; F; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread (+4 Syns)
Syns - extra bread 4; possibly some at lunchtime once I decide what to have but I'm OK with that as still have syns left

Congratulations on your results MrsR. You did really well to have a celebration treat and syn it. :T

I checked my diary and I have another 2 weeks plus before I have to go to WI. Unfortunately next week I'm eating out twice so need to be really good around those days. I was thinking yesterday that I could have some more gin days at weekends to save syns. I enjoyed a gin when I was out last week but it's rarely my go to drink at home. It would be very mse too as I have plenty in stock,:money:

I have tonight's chips ready frozen so my own HM oven chips that I prepped at the weekend. I'd like to make several portions so I can get ahead of myself.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast with HEA milk
L: ham (P), LO veg and pickles (S), fried potato (F)
D: baked haddock (P), SW chips (F), tenderstem broccoli, cauli steak, mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
    Syns: HP sauce 1

  • Hellooooo. Well today I lost the 1lb I put on last week, hallelujah. BMI at 26.8 which is still overweight :o. Think I would very much like to get to 6st lost by end of year, is feasible in theory, but it does seem to go a bit slower now, so we shall see...

Have been nominated for Miss Slinky , we vote next week, as with Half Term this week so many are absent. Also will be Tasters. Again! :rotfl: Have made a few soups in the last week or so, is an easy way to eat a lot of veg 👍👍. Bubbs, did you try the Corn Thins yet? I have stocked up, love them with the little squares of strong spreadable cheese and vegemite. I have even foregone my 2 hifi bars some evenings, unheard off :D.

Hope you are all doing well and staying away from all those Halloween/Xmas chocs!! :D

Well done PIB and Sleazy on your losses.

Well done Mrs R on your result, and also for synning your celebratory meal.

Have had a couple of days where the plan has gone out the window at dinner time, due more to circumstance than anything else. Not a lot can be done about that, other than damage limitation the rest of the time.

Today has been fully on plan :)
B - banana; quark protein pot (discovered they aren't yogurt, but a quark) by My Protein. Still going to syn at (2)
L - salad leaves, cucumber, carrot, sweetcorn, chicken breast fillet, dressing (1.5); melon, mango & hm rice pudding (made with almond milk, think I used too much rice to milk, and I left it in the oven too long, so it's just sticky rice instead)
snack - Rocky Rice choc orange bar (syns anyone? puffed brown rice & covered in dark choc) - 93 cals thinking a possible HEB? (5)
D - pork chops, mash & baked beans, gravy (2)
    snack - 1 rich tea biscuit (3)

Managed to lose the 1lb I needed to get off last week. Hoping the couple of off-plan meals do not scupper this week, as I really want to get past this plateau.

Went way over on Syns yesterday so will try to keep Syn Free today!

B - overnight oats - HEB; mixed frozen fruit (S)
    L - garlic mushrooms (S) with roasted jackets (F)
D - squash (S) and beef (P) lasagne (F) . Meat sauce includes tomatoes, tomato puree, celery & carrot (S). The white sauce is made with squash (S), potato (F); veg stock (F); mustard powder (F); egg yolk (P); quark (P). The recipe doesn't have cheese on the top but I'm going to grate some over for my 2nd HEA. Can't have lasagne without cheese!

    HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese - will use a mix of strong cheddar and parmesan
    HEB - oats

    Syns - none:D

    Morning all,
Did anyone else watch the programme on BBC2 over the last couple of nights about obesity? Was very interesting, and one participant was infuriating.

Well I went to bed last night absolute fuming with OH and it was about food! My food, to clarify. I have bought the high protein quark for my breakfast at work. They are quite expensive at 75p a pot, but they don’t irritate my stomach like the Greek yogurt does. At the weekend I bought 4 for the week, and also bought him a kilo of Greek yogurt. He’s eaten my quark and left his yog. It’s not like I need any more help to sabotage my efforts. Honestly I could have cried, which sounds pathetic written down here in the cold light of day. Events like that can really put me in a spin when I’m struggling to stay on track. If it weren’t for the fact we’ve run out of butter I know I was going to eat toast this morning. :o

Anyway, I have not carried on the argument today and he thinks it’s sorted. It’s not. I’m an unforgiving lady. He will do penance, he just won’t realise it! :rotfl:

    Today’s plan:
B - porridge :/ HEB with milk from HEA. Sugar (2)
L - salad with savoury rice, pickled onions, chicken thighs. Dressing (2); mango & melon with HM sticky rice pud (it’s bland and a bit yuk but not going to waste it!) :money:
D - LO pork chops, veg & mash. Gravy (2)

Have a good day all, and lock up your quark!! ;)
