Sorry been MIA this last week. Stuff went rather hectic in my life. Last week I managed a 3.5lb loss.

This last week I have been very good most of the time, but have had a 3 of very off plan meals. Hoping the fact that I've had pretty much no syns the rest of the time will make up for them. Weigh in tomorrow night.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
    Lunch - Burrito bowl
    Dinner - Salmon stir fry
Snacks - rice pudding, fruit, cereal bars

HAs - milk and cheese (rice pudding is 1 HA)
    HB - cereal bars
Syns - possibly 1 or 2 in the stir fry sauce

  • Sary not sure this is what you have:

Aldi Optifit Active Fat Free Yogurts, Peach 4 pack (125g pot) 2 Syns

Copied from the SW Syns Online thingy. And yes, bras are a bit of a minefield, have several sizes stashed but like you sary I also bought a few cheapo ones from Tesco as an interim fit. Have gone down in circumference size but now the cup is getting too big as well :o. Wish the fat would go from my belly first and my chest last!!

Squeezed into sz14 jeans at the w/e, couldn’t do them up yet :o. Sz16 jeans is now very comfortable and starting to feel a little loose, yay. And can fit into sz14 tops (from Sainsb sale ;)) now comfortably, so am very pleased. My neck must have shrunk too, never measured it, but can now wear a gold chain which belonged to my late mum, which previously was too tight for me. Gosh that brought a tear to my eye . Small NSV I guess.

Very wet here in Bucks, will dust the waterproofs off for dogwalk later. Have a good day everyone!

  • Btw anyone else bought a pomegranate in Tesco this week for I think it was 49p? Seemed a good idea at the time, thought the seeds would be nice in yogurt/from frais, but what a faff! I got splattered in juice trying to get them out with a spoon, there must be a better way of doing it? Don’t think I’ll be buying any more :o:o:o.

PIB - apparently, according to the TV chefs, to get the seeds out of a pomegranate you need to just cut in half and then tap firmly over a bowl and they should fall out! Have to say it's never worked for me:rotfl:.

Had another count up of my Syns as couldn't believe I'd still got 25 syns left and I was right! I had forgotten about the nibbles I'd eaten over the weekend - cured meats, olives, bits of feta and mozzarella. Think it's nearer 3 syns a day left! That sound a bit more like it.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - creamy garlic mushrooms with roasted jacket potatoes - S; F; 1.5 syns
    D - LO Sumac lamb chops; bubble & squeak; beans - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - soft cheese 1.5

Hope this works! Say hello to Sidney, a large daft puppy that is taking over our home! Much like having a new baby in the house.

Sorry, done something wrong, obviously! Will try again later

Denise, I had another go, after trying the tapping which did not work for me either :rotfl:. I cut the halves again and then sort of turned them inside out and used my fingers to get the seeds out! All done now, mess cleaned up and hands washed.

Thank you beanie. Have you drawn your line and climbed back on the wagon?

Esmy looking forward to seeing your puppy. I always forget how to post pix here. Bubbs will be along eventually and enlighten us all ;).

Esmy the picture worked for me so don't know why it isn't working for others.

I can't see the link to it on my post?? I'm on the 'old' green format of the site, maybe that's it (but I can see other's pics)

Not working for me, but photos on this site never do from my work laptop. Not sure if it's the work network that stops it or the fact that it's a really old version of Internet Explorer
