Thanks guys. Currently sat outside Aldi having a coffee and about to go in and sat in front of the super 6 sign and spotted the bns, broccoli and swede included so going to get some.

Thanks for your help and thanks also maman for looking up the yogurt value. Can’t believe it’s free so going to allow at least 0.5-1 for it.

I think they put syns on the Muller yogurt (when many others are still free) is because they were heavily promoted, often on offer and so many people on SW ate far too many. People were having them for breakfast, having them as snacks and then having them as puddings after meals. It's a bit like the 'new' guidance on sweetener. It's not a problem if you just have the odd tsp but they want to discourage you from having loads.
  • I had gained 1/2Lb at class on Friday. Frustrated with myself but heyho.
One more weighing before my hols so a concerted effort coming up this week.
Got braising steak in the oven for tonight. It will be served with carrots, potatoes and I’m trying celeriac roasties.
Berries and creme fraiche (3) for pud.
I never liked mullerlights, prefer to spend syns on nice flavoured full fat ones but that is just me.
Enjoy what is left of the weekend.

Got back from our weekend away around lunchtime. Rained most of the weekend but we didn't let it spoil our time away. We visited a couple of towns on the south east coast, Dover and Folkestone.

I had the gammon, eggs, jacket potato, peas, tomato & mushroom. Was very filling, couldn't eat all the potato. Just a few Syns for a pat of butter on the jacket as it was very dry without it.

Have used most of my syns this weekend, even more than usual and today will probably be using another 13.5 which will leave me with 22.5 for Monday-Wednesday so about 7.5 a day which isn't so bad considering how many I've already used.

    Today's plan:

B - Fry up - sausages 2; egg, mushrooms, beans, slice bread, spread 1.5; P;S;3.5
L - seafood salad - prawns, smoked salmon, seafood sticks, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pepper, spring onion dressed with balsamic - P;F;S
D - not sure but probably the other lamb chop I didn't eat yesterday , if not it'll be a small chicken & mushroom sauce pie (10 syns:eek:) with some mash, and veg - P;F;S or P;F;S 10

    HEA - milk
    HEB - 1 slice bread (0.5); maybe a hifi bar (0.5)
    Syns - sausages 2; spread 1.5; chicken & mushroom sauce pie 10

Well another drama in bubbs household!
Just leaving for work at 6.30 and got stung on the inside of my wrist,i swore, put some cream on had antihistamine and thought no more of it, after i dropped dh off my arm hurt so looked at it all swollen

Anyway continue to work, finish work at 12, ring dh and told him he said you better go pharmacy , after i had cellulitis in my leg in July .

Went pharmacy they said you need to see a nurse or doctor!
So i ring the surgery they said appointment for 5.20 but if i could get there earlier go earlier, i said i could be there at 2.50 after i had picked dh up, fine they said.

Get there for then and didn't g in till 3.30 but was glad to be seen result is 8 steroids a day :eek:and 2 antibiotics.

She said if no better Sunday come and see me in a&e as i am working:rotfl::rotfl:
So this is 13 tablets a day now because of my leg tablets:eek::eek:

Sounds nasty bubbs but at least you got seen quickly.

    Afternoon all.

Back from holiday and was pleased that my feet didn't swell this time.
I was 1 stone 8 lb lighter than 2 years ago when we last went and I really suffered in the heat last time.
I wanted to be 2 stone lighter this year but didn't manage it, however I did feel much better, walked loads and actually had the confidence to go swimming in the sea and pool! :j

I'm now going to try to lose a bit more......

Anyone got an audible book account with Amazon and want a free code for a book this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Merry-Mersey-Christmas-Killed-Santa-ebook/dp/B07MCZWQQK/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_img_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=XHWGTJZDDXTW6409TDVE
  • Oh my word Bubbs, but if it worth doing, it is worth doing properly. Hope you feeling better today.

Was good for carvery, but made up for it yesterday However, today, I have made veg soup, spaghetti bol, curry & haribo. Had a cooked breakfast this morning & still full from that, so hopefully will more than make up for yesterday, don't fancy any carbs, so will eat some chicken & veg later. Going to see Big tomorrow so need to plan tomorrow's food carefully as will be going straight from work.

    Have a good week everyone

What's curry and haribo gtq? Sounds revolting.:(

Strange about that gain again tweets . You could be right about exercise. You could try a food diary or more walking. Worth a try? :)

Glad you had a good weekend Denise despite awful weather, although it did pick up here after lunch.

Just about to have dinner, will post menu later.
