Glad to hear that normal service is resumed and we're back to KFC bubbs :D

Sorry to hear about your escapades. You'll be rattling!

Hope the weather is better where you are, it's hideous here. :( I like the tinned duck confit that I buy in France. I've got 2 legs in the freezer from the last tin. I saw it in Waitrose today and it was about £12 a tin. I need to go to France soon. :)

Me too. We're booked on the tunnel beginning of March for a month. That was moved to as late as I could get it so as not to lose the cost of it when I had to go to hospital weekly for the fluids.

Also need to stock up on our favourite wine which is getting ever lower as time goes on. Probably got enough left to last until the end of the year.

    Today's plan:

B - fry up - sausages 2, egg, tomato, mushrooms, beans
L - eating out - hoping to find a Wetherspoon's and will have gammon, egg and jacket, think it comes with mushrooms, peas and tomato plus salad
D - another PON recipe - sumac lamb with rice and chickpeas.

    HEA - Milk
    HEB - ?
    Syns - wine

Bubbs ouch!! Hope you’re feeling better after all those tablets. Are you allergic to bites or stings?
Well i fell asleep on the sofa and have has almost 12 hrs sleep:eek: It is not as red and angry but very itchy:o
Not as i am aware but i never used t be allergic to penicillin but have been for the last 10 yrs or so, i had such a bad reaction thought i was going to die:eek::eek:

Bubbs, hope your sting is more comfortable. Lots of dopey wasps around here at the moment.

Me!! and it's always snacky stuff and sugar. I've no idea what triggers it - although having said that, missing a meal or eating too early in the evening can do it. I have migraines, happily not often, which I know drive me to eat starchy carbs but I think that's what my body needs at that time.

Good couple of days under my belt (hopefully!), for weigh in tomorrow. We have a young and energetic dog coming to live with us tomorrow so I'm expecting to do a lot more walking in the coming months!

    Have a good weekend everyone.
    Just very itchy

I'd post a photo if I knew how! He's around 7 months, crossbreed, some lab and something a bit bigger,(maybe Rottie??) black and tan. He has been living with DD in Greece from being a tiny puppy and she's arranged all his vet treatment prior to getting his pet passport to come into the UK without the need for quarantine. We've had big dogs before but not one as young as he is, so I think we're in for some fun! We're waiting on the call to pick him up. Glad your sting's a bit calmer today.

Weigh in shows a loss of 1/2lb, which is OK - I'm a slow loser at the best of times.

    Today's Menu
B 1/2 grapefruit, 1/2 tsp sugar, bacon egg and mushrooms
L Making some minestrone soup, with a cheese sandwich, fruit
D Not sure at the moment - depends what time we get back with the dog. Might be a freezer tea.

    Have a good day

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit more comfortable today bubbs.:)

Enjoy your lunch in Wetherspoons denise. I like places that offer JPs, many don't have anything but chips.

Maman the lemon muller yog is the lemon tart one. I err on the side of caution with syns as I Don’t have the calculator.

Out of interest, I put the lemon tart values through the [STRIKE]calculator[/STRIKE] estimator and they're coming out as free!

Does anyone else have times their head just isn’t able to stay determined to stay fully on plan? I’m feeling fully motivated at the mo, but a couple of weeks ago I was on the cusp of being out of control, and I’ve no idea why - other than I had a few very off plan treats over the course of a few weeks. Do you have triggers, and if so, how do you get a grip and get back on it to be in control?

Generally speaking I find it fairly easy to stay on plan or I did when I was getting to target, these days I'm a bit more relaxed until I know I need to get back in range. I found it best to ban things I couldn't be trusted around like cheese and crisps. I have chocolate and biscuits and cakes in the house for DH but they don't tempt me at all. I wish I could say the same for wine syns.:o

I'm going to try the Delia Smith pork and mushroom recipe today
    https://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/type-of-dish/entertaining/pork-chops-baked-with-wild-mushrooms-and-creme-fraiche
I'll adapt it slightly but I'd be surprised if it comes in at more than a couple of syns each. I was surprised yesterday that the Sainsbury's reduced fat crème fraiche is only 1 syn per tbsp, far less than their BGTY brand. Aldi low fat is the same but I forgot to get it in there. I'll use up the rest to make some dauphinoise potatoes as they're not so synful now since the second HEA came in. :)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porage with HEA milk
L: JP (F) with cottage cheese (P), spring onions and beetroot (S)
D: Delia's pork and mushrooms (P,S) with SW chips (F) and tenderstem broccoli (S)
Syns: cornflour 1, crème fraiche 1, weekend wine:D

    Afternoon all :A
WI with gain of 1.6lb, not unexpected but less than imagined. Had a bit of a sod it week following on from wedding (plenty of fizz :o) plus CFS wipe out the next day :(. Been like trudging through treacle all week :(.
Anyway apart from that my niece looked gorgeous and we all had a fabulous time including grumpy who said we should do more like that as he’d had a lovely time (rolls eyes).
Son split his foot open beginning of week so been a drama queen, although was a severe cut and should have been stitched but he refused so we steri stripped it. Still hobbling today :p

Have a good weekend all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Glad you’re a bit better bubbs

TIE hope you’re feeling better soon

Well it’s been a busy outdoors day today. Making the most of the dry weather here, as it’s forecast to piddle down tomorrow.

    Meal plan today:
    B - banana
    L - bacon sandwich HeB + 5.5
D - chicken sweet & sour stir fry with whole grain rice. 2 for sauce
    Snack - hm flapjack 6
    HEA - milk in tea/coffee

Have been active all day so not concerned about being a bit carb heavy today. I get the colly wobbles if I don’t have anything suitable like porridge oats when I’m active, and I think a few hours gardening, mowing lawn & weeding is plenty enough to balance things out. Got to go to aldi later as the fridge is a bit bare.

Anyone got a soup maker & if so have any recipes?

Yes and posted my Broccoli & Stilton soup recipe, think it was yesterday ;)

Here is another one from the SW website, must be possible to do in SM.

    Butternut Squash Soup

    Ingredients
    Low calorie cooking spray
    1 onion, peeled and diced
1 medium butternut squash, peeled, deseeded and cut into wedges.
1 small potato, peeled and quartered
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    900ml vegetable stock
A few thyme sprigs to serve

    Method
Spray a large pan with low calorie cooking spray and place over a low heat, add the onion and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add the butternut squash and potato and cook for 2 minutes over a medium heat. Add the garlic and season to taste. Pour in the stock and simmer for 25 minutes.
Using a hand-blender or food processor, blend until smooth and serve sprinkled with thyme sprigs.

Thanks guys. Currently sat outside Aldi having a coffee and about to go in and sat in front of the super 6 sign and spotted the bns, broccoli and swede included so going to get some.

Thanks for your help and thanks also maman for looking up the yogurt value. Can’t believe it’s free so going to allow at least 0.5-1 for it.
