    Evening

Have been to clubbercise again tonight, first class I’ve managed since end August due to either hols or work. Definitely feeling the burn tonight!!

Another day on plan - yay!

    Yesterday:
    B - banana
L - SW chicken & veg soup from Iceland. Was ok, but not worth £2 I paid & takes too long to cook for a worK lunch.
Snack - muller lemon yog 1.5; HM flapjack using bananas & apple - counting as HEB + 4 to be safe
D - jacket potato, carrots, mushrooms, onions, pieces of pork I found in the freezer (a bit out of date. Suspect judging by the taste) with gravy 2. Was filling enough so did the job as OH was out with colleagues for dinner
    Snack - banana & Apple
    HEA - milk in drinks

    Today’s plan:
    B - banana
D - porridge HEB with sliced apple & cinnamon; strawberries & mango
    Snack - muller yogurt 1.5 & HM flapjack 7
D - Mediterranean pulses with beans & turkey breast - garlic herb dressing 1

I’m with the majority and wouldn’t touch kidney either. Ate it as well, what it processes!

I’m afraid my OH is not one to have his meat bulked out with pulses much, but I am canny enough to bulk it out with veg in stir fries and bolognese or mince, etc, or in a pasta. He doesn’t notice as much then. I blame his mother!

Good luck for WI those about to. Well done Denise.

It's quiet on here today. It's not often that I'm first to post. :)

The thread is like a RL group in many ways. I always worry that people who haven't posted for a while may be lurking because they've gone off plan. It's always best to jump back on that horse. You'll always be welcome. :)

It's a horrible day here today but I've done my meal plan and I'm going out to do my food shop. Like most Fridays I could manage with what's left in the way of fresh stuff and stuff from the freezer but I prefer to get it done and then I'm set up for the week.

I've done today's plan but may add in more variety of veg after I've done my shopping. New 105 syn bank starts for me today.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), HEB toast, egg (P), HEA milk for drinks
L: JP (F) with cottage cheese (P) and beetroot (S)
D: BGTY burger, SW chips (F), roast veg (S)
Syns: burger 1, probably wine syns;)
  • So Maman isn't lonely! Another lb bites the dust. Happy with that, as long as the loss is more consistent now, means in theory, I can do almost 1st for Christmas, would love to make the full st, but as long as I get as near as possible will be happy.

Going for a carvery this evening, so no syns until I get there and keep to a minimum.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Thanks gtq and well done on your pound.:D

Carvery's can be a good SW choice. I think it's much the same in all carveries with Yorkshires at one end and roasties at the other. Personally I say no to the Yorkshires and move on quickly, take the meat, then fill my plate with veg to leave as little room as possible for roasties. I'm always too full to have a pudding. I'd rather use my syns on wine. ;)
  • Having a good week so far and also posting so you’re not lonely maman ;). Made some broccoli&stilton soup the other day. Don’t like stilton by itself but had some in the freezer in 50g portions for soup, probably from last Christmas or Jan :o, I would have bought it yellow stickered . Made it in the SM but could just do it in a pan and blitz it. 350g broccoli, 4 spring onions, veg oxo cube, 50g stilton (10S) and as much water to make 4 portions. Was very tasty and at 2.5 syns quite creamy too, without the cream!

Tonight’s dinner is traybake of chicken thighs with loads of speedy veg, will do us for 2 days. Wishing everyone a good weekend on plan :D:D:D.

    It's good to have friends!:D

Change of plan here. When I was putting the shopping away I came across some frozen lentil soup so had that for lunch instead of a JP. :)
