I agree that carvery is a good option esmy . I try to bypass the Yorkshire and then fill my plate with veg and meat so there's not much room for roast potatoes. :D

Noooo - Yorkshire born and bred so I cannot forgo a Yorkshire pud!

I have tried and failed with BNS cannot do it, think maybe just too hard for my hands:(

!!!!! the BNS like you would a potato, stick it in the microwave for about 5 minutes. It softens it up a bit so you can peel it but doesn't cook it.

Weigh in shows a gain of 1.5lb so just what I lost last week! I've been gaining and losing the same 3lbs or so for months now and don't seem to be getting anywhere. Hey ho, I'll keep plodding....I'm going to try keeping the carbs down a bit next week (potatoes, rice, pasta) and see if that helps

    Today's menu
(cupboards are rather bare - must shop tomorrow)
B Slice of toast with marmalade (about a tsp so 1 syn??)
L Ham, tomatoes, other slice of bread, orange
D Sausage casserole from the freezer with broccoli, cauli and carrots

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Agree on the Yorkshire pudding esmy. Has to be a proper one too, not some healthy slimming world version. I keep themy as an occasional treat.

So annoying when your weight does that. Worth rereading your sw books to see if any bad habits have crept in.

Better than you thought Esmy marmalade is only 0.5 Syns per tsp! Even the reduced sugar stuff is the same so might as well have the real thing!

That really doesn't seem to be a lot to have in a day. Do you usually eat more or is that a normal amount? I'd be really hungry if that was all I ate in a day!

You really ought to have a few more syns each day, unless of course you're saving them for a meal and/or alcohol!

  • Well done to everyone who has lost :)
I am not brave enough to weigh just yet, I went out yesterday for a meal with DH and I decided that I would have what I wanted and just enjoy it. I had garlic mushrooms with ciabatta, an then tuna baguette, handful of chips and salad, no alcohol just water.
Back on track today, I have made sure that I have had all my HEA's and B I've noticed if I don't then I am hungry and have to fight the cravings much more.
Syns today are 12 and were very nice too, jaffa cakes and salad cream :)
Put my jeans on last night and high heel boots and I actually felt like I had a nice bootie lol!!! :):) :)Felt just a tiny bit sexy ........(too much info probably lol) :) xx Ignore me it just felt nice to feel good :)
Weight loss 6lb/16lb 10lb to go
I spend an insane amount of time wondering if I am doing it right, sometimes I remind myself that I am doing my best....and that is enough
