    Evening all.

Denise, that's just typical that the op might clash with your holiday. Could you take a cancellation sooner? Not sure what your op is but would you be OK to travel if you could get in sooner? May be worth a call to the consultants secretary.

Klew I'm another one who eats what I think are large portions but usually a lot of fruit and veg. On a normal dinner plate I will have twice as much veg as my OH (who is veggie!) Maybe try a 1/3 speed, a 1/3 protein, 1/3 carbs on your plate. I also have some slightly smaller dinner plates and bowls which I try to use and I don't notice the difference.

    Today's Menu
    HEA1 - milk in drinks
B Bran flakes, 0% yoghurt, blackberries, tsp honey (HEB, P, S, 1 syn)
    L Tuna and salad, LTL mayo, banana, apple (P, S, 1syn, F, S)
D Sausages, mash, broccoli, carrots, gravy (3 syns sausages, F, S, 1.5 syns for gravy)
Snacks - Alpen Light (3), 3 crispbreads with 3 light cheese triangles (4.5 plus half HEA 2)

Managed to avoid shopping so far but must go tomorrow!
    Have a good evening, everyone

DIMW a HEA of light cheese is 40g not 27g, you're doing yourself out of cheese! Normal cheese is 30g for HEA!

Thanks for the compliment! Glad you find it helpful. I'm sure Maman will feel the same.

Esmy I did say I'd take a cancellation if something came up sooner. The op is to remove one of my parathyroid glands as it's extremely over-active!

Good luck with that Bubbs. Can't you ring on the day to get an earlier appointment? That's quite a way off.

Have just added up my Syns for the week and have finished the week on 99 syns! Just hope it's another STS or maybe even a small loss.

    Denise

    Thanks :D
Yes can do but when you are at work it's not convenient:o

Don't have that problem any more, thankfully! If I was still working they would probably have kicked me out by now with all the hospital, doctors and dental appointments I've had recently:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
