SW does work as many can confirm by their weight loss. I have been at target since 2012 so yes it does work.

    I agree too!

Well folks you where right the SW Fish cakes where ick....ended up putting bisto cheese sauce(chopped parsley). Is it me or do others find the meal are over the top with pepper!! Must admit only have a meal in freezer for emergency.....will make my own next time - already had an idea to place Laughing Cow blue in middle.

Denise....do hope you manage your holiday and the op date comes round sooner. I hope you don't mind me asking but without mentioning companies....do you manage to get hol insurance at reasonable price....I was so upset at cost two years ago when off to Cyprus I said never again....plus now our little dog is 12 and won't leave him in kennels....but really puts me off. Hope today goes well and Dr can push it forward.

Pollyanna seems you are getting there...we all have swings and roundabouts but you are sticking with it.

No group this week as target and while I could get weighed and go I love chatting with the girls then end up staying ....only our consultant can't grasp the finish time and always runs over and unlike a few who just get up and go I stay....plus I really want to try and stay in range for a few weeks to see if I can maintain.
  • I forgot that I am out for the day on Saturday and I wanted to cook a load of meals ready for the next week.

I have to knock some sense into me. I tend to get a bit obsessed if I am in the zone.

It is a full day out with my mum going oop North. And now I am thinking how I can make it SW friendly when I really should just enjoy the day. I think I will bring a ham roll for lunch, but not sure what else to do.

    My plan for today:-

    B - Coffee (HEA1), watermelon (S), banana (F)

Snack - Boiled egg (random, but I boiled two last night as my egg muffins had been in the fridge a bit too long. Much preferred just an egg by itself. Nice simple snack for the future. Might bring some on Saturday!).

L - Potato and leek soup with laughing cow (S, F, 2/5 HEA2), WM roll (HEB)
    WW Yog (0.5)

D - Chicken (P) Stirfry (snap peas, babycorn, peppers) (S), Noodles (F), soy sauce (please tell me this is free!!!)

    S - Alpen Bar (3.0)
    Tea x 3 (HEA1)

I get to eat dinner at a normal time tonight, yay!

Girls go to their dad tomorrow evening and I have a few meals in the freezer. All chicken, so maybe I should try making something else:-

    Chicken and Rice (1syn)
    Chicken Saag (0syns)
    Chicken Stroganoff (0syns)

Goodness, have just realised they are all eaten with rice too! I might eat one and leave the others and cook something else for Sunday. Saturday will have to be a meal out with my Mum.

Pollyanna you'll be pleased to know that soy sauce is Free so no need to measure how much you put in your starry. I often add extra at the table too as I find it difficult to judge how much I need when I'm cooking the stir fry!

Managed to lose a 0.5lb this week so happy with that.

    Today's plan:

B - fruit - apple at home; then plum, fig & melon at group, all Speed
    L - 2 pea soup - onions, garlic S; dried split peas, frozen peas F; potato F
    D - jerk chicken with rice & peas - chicken P; spices F, honey 1; rice F, kidney beans P

    HEA - milk
HEB - none planned but have various options in the cupboard
Syns - honey 1, nothing else planned but who knows!

Back to the hospital again this afternoon to see another consultant! He'll be the one who decides if I need to go back for weekly fluids and blood tests!

Thank you so much. You have been incredibly helpful in my journey so far. My work trousers are feeling looser, so hoping for a good loss this week.

I don't know your medical situation as haven't been on the thread long, but I do wish you well and it can't be fun having to spend so much time in hospital :(

Tonight, think all the soy sauce will be done at the table (hope that doesn't make it taste dry) as we are unsure as to whether the girls will eat it with sauce.
