I've ran out of WW Yogurts. This is unheard of even when I wasn't following SW.
My local coop which is the only shop I will be passing on the way home (save for silly London shops) won't sell them I don't think. Surely they will sell Muller Lights. These are all 0.5 syns I believe?Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Just back from this afternoon's appointment and very good news! No more sitting around at the hospital all day every Wednesday having fluids! Instead he has given me tablets which I need to take every day until my operation. I asked him why they didn't' just give me those to start with and he said because they are very expensive! and they are, the pharmacist has had to order them and could take up to 5 working days to arrive! Two months's supply comes in at £600:eek:.
I need to have a blood test in a couple of weeks and then go back and see him in 5 months so once I've had the op and they can see whether it's worked! Will need to have a blood test a couple of weeks before my next appointment.

Blimey, that's expensive Denise! But you are worth it
Of course you are!
Well done on your half pound too. :T
I'm going to WI tomorrow but not hugely hopeful after 2 birthdays this week.
You have plenty of ideas for food to take with you on Saturday pollyanna . If you do decide to have a meal out with your mum then choose your restaurant wisely if that's possible. Will you be in a shopping centre at lunchtime or driving? Many places have SW friendly options.
The HM frozen oven chips were a huge success last night. They were much crisper than cooking them fresh when they can go a bit soggy when they cool down. I'll definitely make them again, deliberately next time.
Today's EE plan :
B: NAS grapefruit (F), 2 boiled eggs (P) HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: veggie omelette (S, P) with ham (P) beetroot and pickled cabbage (S)sausages (P?), mash (F), onions, red cabbage, carrots and broccoli (S)
Syns : sausages 2, gravy 4?
Overdid the eggs a bit (not by bubbs standards) but didn't have much else to go with Speed veg.
Thanks for the kind words but I'd never make a consultant. I cheat far too much.0 -

Thanks Beanie and Maman - have to agree I'm worth it, LOL! Was quite impressed that the Dr said I was still quite young, LOL! Been retired since 2010 (very slightly early!). I'm hoping that because he's only given me 2 months worth that he's going to talk to the ENT consultant to push the op to be done before then - can only hope that's the case! If not I'll then be without tablets until the date of the op as he hasn't given me a way of getting any more.
Maman did you par-boil the chips before freezing? I assume once they were cooled, if you did, that you then sprayed them with Frylight before freezing. Did you cook them from frozen?
Must say I really enjoyed the jerk chicken tonight, first time of making it. I used my own jerk seasoning but next time I'll add a bit more chilli as DH thought thought it was a bit mild. Got the recipe by googling!
We've decided to have a bottle of wine tonight to celebrate the good news! (any excuse, LOL!).

Evening!
Denise that's great news that you don't have to spend days at the hospital any more - I bet you're delighted! and well done on your 1/2lb.
Today's menu
HEA1 - milk in drinks
B Bran flakes/ bran crunch mixed, 0% yog, blackberries, honey (HEB, P, S, 1 syn)
L 2 egg omelette with mushrooms, spring onion and cheese (P,S, HEA2)
banana (F) large orange (S)
D Steak, roasted veg (carrots, peppers, onions, baby corn, mushrooms all S) baby roast potatoes (F) yoghurt (1/2 syn)
Snack - Fibre One (4.5)
I need to see if there are any more blackberries to pick as I've really enjoyed them and I've used all my freezer stock - lovely day forecast tomorrow so it'll be a nice way to spend an hour or so. I've made a pan of syn free gravy today for the freezer - it's surprising how the odd syn or two can mount up over a day so I'm trying to find ways to save syns.
Have a good evening all.0 -
Thanks everyone. Lots of ideas. Not sure what I'll do. Don't think I fancy dragging a load of stuff around, but might bring stuff wrapped in foil so I'm not carrying pots home.
No idea what is where I am going. We are getting the train to Warwick to go and see the castle. I have no idea if there is even a town centre around there for us to have a gander around. We have to get on specific trains (to make it cheaper), so it literally is from about 10am till our train home at about 6pm.
Stirfry went down well. DD1 has decided she likes soy sauce. DD2 wouldn't even try it and ate everything plain.
I quite liked it I must admit. Went a bit overboard on noodles, but not too bad.
And yes, defo will boil up a load of eggs and eat them as snacks. Quite enjoyed that.
Crustless quiche (with mushrooms, spring onions and peppers) in the oven. I was a bit dim. I thought you could put cling film in the oven so used it as a "cover." It's not there anymore! Just have to hope I don't find it in the quiche when I try and eat it!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
