Isn't it a 1.5 bedroom flat? Just like you can get 1.5 bathrooms?

Would you be happy for the HA to downgrade it to 1 bed and at the same time come along and demolish this paper wall you refer to?

Where would this "other" adult then sleep?

Basically it reads to me like you actually want to keep the benefit of this "bedroom" but not have to pay full price for it.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

If you think the rent is too high for what it is then contact the rent officer, they are meant to assess rents if tenants think they are unreasonable. It doesnt really matter what name its given.

I want to challenge the HA I am renting from about this flat being classified as a 2 bedroom flat and change it to one bedroom as it really is.

Any advise on how could I go about that please?
Start by asking the HA what they consider a minimum size and why they define your flat as a two bedroom.

Wawwwww CSI/Criminal Minds all rolled into one here - you people really have nothing better to do than run your imaginary theories on a post that really is very simple?

Room is way to small to be called a bedroom. That is all.
