Given you've been saying self interest rules for as long as you've been posting here I suspect you'll be saying the same thing at the election after this one too.0 -
This government is useless. It has no policies anymore apart from Brexit, and has no idea what it wants from that, apart from doing whatever they think the public wants in order to retain vote share.
It frames itself as 'with the people' but it's composed of some of the most established folk you would ever meet.
At this juncture almost anything would be better. Corbyn, Ken Clarke even Caroline Lucas, they'd all be able to restore a sense of decency within parliament and facilitate a period of listening which will move us forward. Boris is a lazy, self-entitled, power crazed idiot, who with his KGB partner Cummings is bringing the country into disrepute. For the love of god, anyone but him.0 -

Nope, no election for you. You voted for Brexit, then you voted for a Tory government. And that's exactly what you've got.
Hope you're enjoying your choice!0 -
I’ve a feeling the GE, when it comes won’t be about the continuance of brain washed Tories voting Tory in middle England, but perhaps the end of Labourites voting Labour in their traditional heartlands.
Thanks to Brexit, Britain is abandoning its penchant for voting on class grounds, just a quick glance at the Labour conference this week should be enough for most ordinary voters to realise that Corbyn’s Labour is now the party of the quinoa eating, soap dodging activists, and I expect them to haemorrhage votes in the upcoming GE.
Scotland does indeed have a big decision ahead, I expect the canny Scots to vote with their heads, hearts and their wallets and opt to keep the circa £15bn bung it gets from middle England every year.
Ironically the class divide has been brought sharply into focus again by middle class Remoaners who’ve spent he last three years denigrating Leave voters by dint of their low educational attainment and their non-metropolitan location in provincial areas of the UK.
Bring on the GE, I’ve a feeling it’s going to be chastening experience for you.
You're getting class and education very confused. You're also trying rather too hard to turn the focus away from how dreadful the Conservatives are.
Is the only reason you can think of to justify voting Tory that you hate Labour? There are other parties.0 -

It's all of parliaments duty to deliver Brexit.0 -

It's Parliament's duty to do what is best for the country.
If they can see a car crash coming, it's their duty to put the brakes on.
Once they decided to defer to the people they have a duty respect the peoples vote. Parliament also voted to leave with or without a deal and that is still the current law.0
