You came from nowhere, having not read the thread, to then blurt out half baked nonsense with no value.... you have added no value here.
Disappointing doesn’t quite cover it ... The mind boggles :mad:0 -

I don’t think you fully get it ...... by sharing my experience .....and getting others insight .. I make a contribution. I never really had anything to post all that time because others had experienced my issue and had their queries explained. However it is usually hard work getting to the crux of any issue for the amount of shear noise, bluster, and just abject rudeness of some contributors.
Also I think you will find that PPI is not finished. There is still a massive back list of cases. And queries yet to come. Some like mine, others more sanguine and even dear I say it some successs stories
I hope you will the good grace to tolerate them.0 -

You started off with an expletive in your thread title designed to make it appear that it is somehow automatically wrong to have insurance. It really isn't, unless you can show it was somehow mis-sold to you.
You then went on to detail how you complained that you didn't know you had the insurance, something which is contradicted by your thread title. PPI was not routinely added without the knowledge and permission of the customer and (on credit cards) would have appeared itemised on a separate line of every monthly statement when your account had a balance.
You then went on to infer that anyone complaining without documentary evidence is automatically lied to and told there are no records. This is not generally the case at all , although I concede there have certainly been some very high profile instances which resulted in heavy fines for the financial institutions concerned.
You asked if you were likely to be refunded. The answer is that no one here can say for sure, but we can certainly point out to you the weaknesses and contradictions of your complaint.
You asked if a complaint about a particular account would automatically generate investigations of your other accounts. The answer is that the Bank will only consider the specific concerns you raise.
My remarks about links to the CAG forum were not in response to you at all and you are, of course, at liberty to seek the help of contributors there if you wish.
Attacking the contributors here, however, will not make them more likely to offer you any support in future....0
