I'm back at the paid stuff from tomorrow - but I'll try and do a bit every day.
:rotfl: oh the innocence … was that really me that wrote that!
I have had the week from Hell at work - and, no, it wasn't MM's fault, it was the fault of whoever thought I could do the work of 5 people in one person's hours! (Annual Leave / Sick Leave / Carers Leave). I turned in to a purple minion midweek - poor MM just patted me on the back and blinked at me. I do believe I out-MMed MM!!! I had counselling on Thursday evening: learned a technique that prevented two wobbles escalating in to meltdowns yesterday, and resulted in emails being flung out to the higher ups which didn't work, so I emailed the higher up higher up  That worked! Priorities were established.
Unfortunately this meant I came home each evening, flopped in the chair, inhaled chocolate and watched Capt Jack Sparrow sail the seven seas. (Have you ever had a chocolate hangover? Thinking about it - that was when I morphed into the purple minion...ooops :rotfl:)
I guess what I'm trying to say is that the only clear surface in this house now is the table that I cleared on my week off.... that remains unsullied. Everywhere else is :eek:_pale_
So, this morning I have …. looked through Sits Vac; caught up with the thread; taken the full bin bags from the living room and kitchen, knotted them and hung them on the door handle ready to go out; put fresh bin bags in bins; WM x1 - which is now waiting patiently to be pegged out; taken empty chocolate box through to kitchen - added it to large pile of empty chocolate boxes on draining board - they will be recycled at some point today.
Hugs, posivibes, (chocolatey) spoons, and much love being sent out in to the ether.
I'll get dressed... it's a start

Morning all,
I have pegged one laundry load out already, hoovered our room and S&S the bathroom. We will take the dog for a walk shortly then DDs swimming lesson. Also need to pop to the Post Office and bakery.
DH at work, so it will be an easy dinner tonight. And Strictly starts:T
Have lovely days all xx0 -

Thank you for the reminder :T
I've:
made my bed
washed & dressed
unloaded WM
reloaded WM
scrubbed WM dispenser as it was clogged up and hadn't emptied  (been on the 'to do' list for eons)
set WM swishing
wiped line / pegged out first load
fed the birds
filled birdbath and water pot
put full bin bags in bin
recycled chocolate box(es) packaging
recycled cardboard box
white feather on washing line - keep having these 'Mum was alive this time last year' thoughts, which is tough. Weird how they've just started - but I guess it's something to do with the run up to the anniversary of her death - one year on 30th October. We didn't always get on, but I do miss her.
Right - I'm going to town to pick up DS's suit from the drycleaners.

Back from dog walk. Just having a cuppa then I need to progress the washing piles, get a hamper ready for a charity event today and fill a charity bag that has just come through the door.Spend less now, work less later.0

one cleaned suit retrieved and paid for
three jackets dropped off to be cleaned
did a meal plan for weekend in my head & called at Mr C00p
two policepeople in Mr C00p - felt guilty even though I haven't done anything illegal - well, not knowingly / recently / ever
food bought
tipping with rain when I left Mr C - cursed weather
arrived home - not raining here / doesn't seem to have rained here (less than two minutes away from Mr C)
unpacked food / hung up suit
checked wind direction
pegged out 2nd WM load
put phone on charge
and breathe...

Hugs and cheering on coming your way, Round x
Big shop done at Mr M (3 police people and their cars, so it must be the day for it) following the list which was based on a vague meal plan. Shopping squeezed into cupboards, fridge and freezer.
One load of washing in the line. I have another to do but it’s very grey outside so I might hold off for an hour or so.
Ironing pile demolished.
I’m now debating - before having lunch - clean the downstairs loo or go into the greenhouse....0 -
for the love of chickens.. I need a bigger house!!!!!
I have 2 teenage girls in the same room, 18 and 16.. one is a neat freak, one is a pig!! Cue EPIC meltdown of 18 year old today.. I am pretty sure there is more to this than she is letting on. she has never been one to discuss her feelings or anything so we can't head this stuff off and it all just erupts.. I cannot make the house bigger (Currently have DS1 back too in the middle room on a sofabed.) I cannot make more rooms.. they just have to accept this is the best I can do with the limited space I have.. Anyway.. NF daughter has just thrown everything everywhere in a rage and messy one has flounced out and is refusing to go to work.. which is NOT my responsibility, I have told her it is out of order for her to dump on her colleagues and irresponsible.
1x WM done so I will go hang out the 2 wet loads and start filling bags with baby toys to be rehomed.. Jacobs mum had twin baby boys so I can fling most in her direction!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Apart from dog walk later I'm now in for the day so should fly, except my guag has got up and gone, so I think I'll do some knitting. There's always tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0

Been on my long drive, took a picnic, it was windy but a lovely day.
On the way back stopped for a walk near a very well known airbase, parked up and off we go, jokingly said to OH, they will have their binos on us, we get back to the car to find the police there, just sitting, watching, so we set about our food, then only to have the military police turn up the other side of the fencing, watching us!!
