Dailies done and very little else flying-wise. So frustrating when last week I was finally getting on top of it and keeping up.

It’s a bonus for me if I actually get the level 1 done in all rooms in a week, let alone do the rooms on the day that they come round :o. The daily list keeps me on my toes. Still I can dream - and the thread definitely keeps me on track as well as “talking” to all the lovely fly ladies every day.:T

    Hello all, Welcome (again!)

May I ask, the daily lists, is there a particular reason they are posted daily rather than a whole week's worth at the start of the week? I only ask as I hate bathroom cleaning, and circumstances dictate now that this is done on a Thursday. It used to be Friday, but now I'm swimming on Friday morning so bathroom will have to be Thursday. So if the FL thread puts bathrooms on Tuesday, I'm scratching around or doing nothing on Tuesday. I've tried looking at the previous week's Tuesday and doing that instead, but then those tasks may pop up on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

I was just wondering if a week's tasks were posted up all at one go, I could swap my day's around to fit. Just a thought, but obviously I don't want to butt in and make life awkward for anybody.

    Have a good day all.

Daily lists are posted so you don't do it all at once.. if you want a whole list on one go copy and paste last weeks list and follow that on this weeks thread.. it doesn't matter, just find what works for you and run with it.. but we are here to offer motivation and encouragement which helps us all get through the weeks.

A few don't follow lists at all just write what needs to be done in their own home and follow that.. so long as we are doing more than we would without the support we are all winning!

    I still don't like school!!

Twinkle LOVED nursery.. she sent me to shop for lollies while she played with friends.. she made me look at her friends when I went to pick her up! She is just too cute!

Everyone seemed to like their new classes and Dots teacher hasn't rang in sick yet so thats a plus! lol

My sister had her first baby today, a little pink niece I will, in all likelihood, never see sadly.. but she is very cute, looks very like we all did as babies and I shall love her from afar and drop a card and gift in at her mothers for her.

FWIW I do the lists to suit myself regardless of what Natty or I have deemed the room to be. I ALWAYS do my kitchen and bathroom the same day then do a towel wash; I also mop the kitchen then the bathroom then clean the mop. Sometimes that's ALL the cleaning I do in a week, along with bed changing.

  • Morning

Just popping in quickly before I go to work. Glad the new job going well JoJo. Didnt do any flying yesterday as I had a meeting last night so was on the go from 6am to 9pm!!

Slinky welcome! you will work out your own method as you go along, some of us follow the plan to the letter and some of us work out our own lists. The main thing is that you do something every day if you can, and dont wait for things to look grubby before you clean.

Right, got to run or I wont get a parking space at work!

    Thanks Ladies for the welcome.

With regards swapping things round to suit myself, I'm in danger in only doing the bits I can tolerate (I was going to say like, but in truth there's nothing I like about cleaning) and disregarding the rest........ I know that I am fundamentally lazy and it was only that I ran my own business that had deadlines to meet for customers that made me do the work I needed to do. Now I've stopped work, somehow I've got to find myself a better way of keeping on top of stuff.

Hey ho, this morning I've vacced round and emptied the vacs as it's black bin day today. Found some yukky fluff traps under our open tread staircase and managed to get the fluff out (we've only been living here about 7 weeks and most of the yuck wasn't ours!). Swished around the kitchen, steamed the microwave, put some ironed stuff away, sorted the dry washing from yesterday, put the sheets on to wash.

I'm wondering if I were to print off, say 4 weeks of weekly lists, tweaking them around as needs be, would that cover all the jobs?

ETA, you may have noticed it's Thursday and I haven't done the bathroom, only I did that on Tuesday as I didn't do it last Friday because of swimming... It'll get done Thursday next week.

Have stripped both DS's and my bed and have a washload of bedding blowing on the line.
They've had long enough to air now; so I'll make the beds when I've finished my coffee.
