Morning all, feeling a bit under the weather today with a cold and yesterday had a stinking headache all day but got all my little tasks done.
Another payment made to c/c as cashback cleared and also earning from last night's session, £40 paid off bringing the card down to £2050.
I keep looking at my budget seeing if there is anything else we can reduce or get rid of but nothing standing out at the minute, will keep plodding!

Another day and another step forward, income from bank account today so another £20 paid off the credit card it looks lovely seeing all the payments on the screen. So near now to another debt starting with that lovely 1! Not expecting to pay anything else until the expenses come in so just usual payments, next loan payment is in two weeks time.
Had to spend on myself this morning which I find hard to do but I was desperate for some new trainers as mine have almost gone through the sole, I wear them everyday for work so spent £20 on the most unfancy pair I could find.
I have a busy weekend ahead so hope to be feeling better by then as still a little off today, lots to plan but I can't concentrate at the moment.
Lunch will sort me out! H x1 -

Well that little cold turned into Tonsilitis so have been off work so far this week, feeling much better this evening but I've never endured so much day time tv it's just rank isn't it!
Not much has been achieved financially and have missed 2 sessions of my own business which is a pain, I also in my pain and tablet induced state managed to forget that I had brought fuel from a different place than normal at the weekend, called the bank to report fraud again and cancel my card plus have a blazing row with dh about it all. Ooops!!! all sorted now except I need to phone the bank to repay the money which I haven't been able to do as no voice for 3 days.
I have paid the monthly installment for the credit card plus a little extra to take me under the £2k threshold, need to catch up with the rest of the finances tomorrow plus try and do a bit of work.
Hope everyone is ok, H x1 -
Oh no! At least you worked it out in the end though :rotfl: bless you!
Hope you're feeling better now x1 -

Morning all, now entering the twilight zone where nothing is happening for a few days as next loan payment goes out on 16th.
Making progress with getting dh completely on board with attacking the debt this next year so we are free, I've opened a spends account to pay for food and fuel for the month whilst leaving the main account as the bills payments. This way we can clearly stick to our monthly budget for each expense and in the mean time the main account can build up.
Some other things we have agreed on:
* Xmas - dh wanted to buy the kids a new games console but it is just so expensive plus we already have 2 other consoles and the kids play on the PC most of the time. We have decided against it and to ask the kids to do a list. We also have dd birthday next month so there's no way we can afford to do it all. We will also talk to the family about no presents this year just food and company.
* Expenses income for the next 2 months to be put aside for kids presents.
* I have ordered a new power cable for a drum kit then we can sell it as ds not interested in it anymore.
* I am obviously focused on paying off the credit card but as dh doesn't know about it I also need to pay the other debt therefore the order of payments will be Overdraft, then pay off car as if I pay an extra monthly payment each month then it reduces quickly and then will free up minimum of £191 a month to save towards paying off a loan as a lump sum which will be reduced by then.
* I need to sort out business sessions, need more kids to attend so I can pay myself back from the insurance.
This weekend we are tidying up the garden, tomatoes and other veg have been terrible this year so going to change all the grow bags in the spring and really plan what we want to grow and when with the rest of the family helping.
Right off to clean the kitchen, H x1
