Hi HM,
All sounding good and in control. Always good to get the work expenses done and back. I have been trying to get H to do his for the past few months but to no avail. You've reminded me to try again.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Morning all, nothing moving very fast here and need some excitement occasionally we do have an outdoor festival to go to on Saturday which I am working but the kids can try some other activities and then a BBQ all of which is free, and dd still has a driving experience she got for Xmas which needs to be used by October so need to plan that asap.
Business is up and down, I only had 1 on Monday so couldn't go ahead but yesterday I had 10 kids although I'm not sure if some of the new ones will come back as they were a little unruly! I still don't have enough to pay myself back as need to pay for venue hire first, but I will pay myself the coaching fee so will send £10 either to credit card or loan savings.
That said I don't know what to tackle now, I've had the PIN for the new 0% credit card which I'm going to do the balance transfer but nothing else (hoping postman brings today), shall I chip away at the credit card or save for loan payment. As dh doesn't know about the cc maybe I should work out what I would need to pay on that each month before the 0% runs out so that will be clear and still save for the loan as he would need to see progress.
Ah keep plodding on, everyday is a day nearer to debt freedom! H x1 -

Getting rid of the hidden credit card seems like the best course of action as you will probably be relieved when it is paid off!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Ok new credit card has arrived and been activated, I've done a balance transfer of the other card so as soon as that is clear I can wait for the final interest and then close. I've also done a money transfer at 0% of £300 to main bank account to help us this month. The overdraft will be reduced when I can.
0% deal is until October 2020 so 12 months the balance will be £2280 so £190 a month to pay it off by end of the deal, right need to get some surveys done and money waiting to pay as soon as the transfers go through.

Not much happening today, distinct lack of surveys today but have snapped another receipt and this is edging nearer to payout.
Transfer has gone to credit card but not cleared yet so will check again tomorrow and then phone and cancel the card, food shopping has gone slightly over budget this week but all good as dh has been making his lunches and still looking good on ynab budget compared to other months.
I used some money on a prepaid credit card from a survey site to pay for some new breakfast bowls, how we got down to 2 bowls I don't know when we have an abundance of plates and small plates! Had to fork out for some books for DD for GCSE's, she's doing triple science for the next couple of years, she still needs a Maths book.
Itching to get moving with the debt, right making dough for homemade pizza for tea then out for two club sessions!

Good morning just waiting for my breakfast to go down before I go for a run, I have an awards evening at the end of October in Cardiff and I have a dress that I want to fit in to rather than buy anything so trying to be good with food and also up the mileage on my runs!
I checked accounts and have cancelled original credit card (might be a small amount of interest to pay) and also sent a little payment of £11.82 to the new one. At least all the payments will go straight off the balance now and no interest. Still no sign of expenses it's quite a lot this month so I want to make a big payment to the card when it arrives.
We're doing well with the shopping this month even though dh needed extra fruit and vegetables this week we are still on course for a lower amount spent. I need to do a shop today and also get fuel as we are out all day tomorrow although we do get a free BBQ tomorrow evening.
OK need to get on, see you later! H x1 -
Cat insurance sorted and paid for annual cover, it was £25 less than my previous cover plus I have gone through cashback site. I've cancelled the direct debit to the other company which will mean about £6 back in the account each month and transferred the money to cover it from the annual bills pot. Obviously I will continue paying into that ready for the next annual bill but nice to see another direct debit off the list.
What a beautiful day, lovely run this morning, washing on the line, chicken marinading in the fridge, relaxed evening as need to be up early tomorrow.

Long day yesterday working at the outdoor event, the kids and hubby managed to get on a canoeing session in the morning. We didn't stay for the BBQ as everyone was tired but we came home and dd made burgers for us all. I did get a free lunch and hoodie which is a bonus!
Up this morning for volunteering, it started raining 5 mins before the event and a bit wndy but fair play to teh kids for still running. I do have earache in both ears now though so taking it easy for teh rest of the day as I want to run tomorrow.
Old credit card statement was issued and I have paid the last interest on there, so glad not to be paying £25 on interest every month now, I've also paid £10 on to the new credit card.
DH has made curry for lunch with plenty of leftovers, just sandwiches for tea.
Nice weekend, everyone enjoyed yesterday.
