Afternoon peeps, currently trying to sort out my paperwork and get some sort of order going in all the different things I do, I've put up my noticeboard in the kitchen so I can have easy access to information I need.
I have the following roles to manage - Work 1, Work 2 (2 different roles in the same organisation), own business, club, volunteer coordinator, social sports club. No wonder I have so much to do! That's not even taking into account my Welsh lessons, plus now my tutor training, oh and also forgot my second job at the care establishment.
I'm going to put on the board all the regular things I have to do, then have my to do list on there as well. All the paperwork that relates to the roles need to be filed but easy to get to.
On to finances, I've updated my budget sheet and also decided that I'm going to have 3 savings going on at the same time. At the minute it's Emergency Fund, Guttering & Pipes and DD trust fund. That means there's progress in 3 important areas. As things get paid off I can add more to each until I save what's needed. I was trying to think how to split the extra income and have decided that the easiest way to divide it the 3 ways. It might sound a bit weird but at least each goal will be getting a bit each time.
I got a bit of a refund from an event so have sent £10 each to those areas. Current totals:
* Guttering & Pipes £10/?
* Emergency Fund goal 1 £10/£1000
* Dd trust £808.65/£1000
Right best get sorting! H x2 -

Good morning! Well it's dh pay day and I though why am I waiting until Tuesday to pay off the card, I can do it today and then the money will be put back then. So it's done, the card is paid off. I'll check on Monday that it's cleared and then phone up to close the card.
Feels like a massive lift and can't wait to start paying back parents and carry on building all the savings.
Thanks for the comments r.e. all the roles, to be honest everything apart from the care job fits in to each other, each aspect supports and builds another so each is worthwhile and fun too.
I need to catch up on lots of work today as I had the day off yesterday from everything, apart from a terrible online course which I have fed back to the organisation. I also have a meeting at 11 and my 3rd jab at 2.10pm.
As always a busy weekend ahead, right let's get on!

Good evening, on a night shift so popping on for a few minutes.
Checked my app and the balance on my card is £0 but won't clear properly until Monday, can't wait to phone up and cancel the card.
Please send me all the good vibes you can as I might be having an increase in hours for my main job which basically means that I will get paid for all the extras that I do anyway plus means the work myself and a colleague do can really crack on.
We're looking to have a night on the Island in two weeks time so we can walk there and just to get away for a night. It will be lovely to spend time as a family for a change.
16 days until next pay day when I can put more aside for dd school fees and some extra hours in there to go to savings goals.
Back to read some diaries in a bit, H x2 -
I hope you get the increase you are looking for. Congratulations on clearing the cc debt. Must feel fabulousAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Morning, good start to the week. I've just phoned to close the credit card, save for a little bit of interest that may be added on 6th October but it's done, it's gone and all the paperwork is destroyed.
Such a relief not to have that hanging over me and feels really like I can crack on now.
I've also paid £100 to my parents, so that is now down to £1200, will start paying more back next month.
Hotel is booked for next weekend, really looking forward to getting away. Obviously went through cashback site too!
Another really busy week ahead with final prep for an event at the weekend, need to push it through social media to get some more competitors signed up.
A small bit of income this morning so have sent £10 to each savings pot.
* Guttering & Pipes £20/?
* Emergency Fund goal 1 £20/£1000
* Dd trust £818.65/£1000
Ok emails need answering, see you later. H x1 -
Ooh yucky weather today, my sessions this evening will definitely be indoors!
Child benefit in today which covers the payment made to credit card so will leave as is in the account. Feels like I'm waiting ages now until the next bit of progress whether that's a payment to debt or to savings.
I suppose I should get on with one of the hundreds of things on my list and stop worrying about it, just let things tick along for a while.

Great news on kicking the debt on the card and cancelling it. Enjoy your weekend
