Oh my I don't know where the weeks go, so busy which is fab and finally seeing the benefit of hard work and savings.
Firstly I got the permanent 1 night a week, this will be the first month to be paid it and with the calculations the pay packet on Tuesday is pretty healthy and will be split between school fees, a little bit on some bits for the house and then child benefit is also due that day so will pay another chunk off the credit card. Tomorrow is the next loan payment so ticking on nicely.
Family is fine, dd finishes school in 2 weeks and wants to visit the private school as she's a bit nervous, understandable but we've said if she's not happy then she can still go to the local college.
Some expense for me over the next few months, I have had an awful time with my teeth and have moved dentist. Unfortunately due to 2 teeth together in a bad state and holes right down to the nerve, they will have to both be removed. I have been in agony!!
Finances:
Car insurance sorted today, I managed to get annual cover (paid in full) plus breakdown cover for the same price as my renewal quote plus cashback. Also this means that the monthly payment will stop and with 2 more payments of service plan left which includes the next MOT and service, that the budget is a little easier again.
Work:
Very busy trying to fit it all in, my own business has restarted and I have a waiting list so thinking I might see if I can do another session in the hour before my current one. Once I get a few more weeks in I can pay myself back more as still owed £150, when that's repaid I can pay myself each week.
Personal:
Training has been terrible due to teeth problems but will be back on it tomorrow.
Family:
All good, hoping to visit in-laws soon, dh has had his first Covid jab so after the next one we will sort out a date.
Home:
Not much going on - ordered shed (arriving in July), workman was meant to come out last week to do quote for attic but has been so busy I will contact him again tomorrow. Looking for 2 chest of drawers for bedroom so we can tidy up in there.
Kids:
Fine, ds is starting to go out more with friends which is lovely to see.
Plans for the next few months:
* Keep cracking away at credit card
* Save first school term's fees in full
* Buy a shed - waiting for delivery
* Plastering and carpet for attic - waiting for quote

Good morning, what's this 2 posts in 2 days!
Been pottering around this morning in the house, updating ynab and need to sort food from stores for the week as we have lots of bits and pieces that need using up.
Loan payment has gone out but will update totals tomorrow and there will be lots of movement with funds tomorrow and heading nicely to £2k mark which is amazing. I made a mistake on my pretty colouring in picture and put far to many boxes for the loan, there are 10 months left to pay not 22. If anything changes I will pay this off early but so many other things to save for.
Had email back from private school r.e. visit so will arrange to go after half term as dd will be at home then. Also messaged plasterer about rearranging visit so hope to hear back soon.
I'm out this evening for work, it will be lovely to see people in person after such a long time.
Right time for a cuppa and catch up with my Welsh homework!

Hi Huggle,
Sounds like you've been super busy!
Ouch to the toothache, hope they get sorted soon.
Well done on the car payments, that's great news and will definitely help the budget and great stuff about the permanent too.
Have a great time tonight and I hope it's not too busy for you xx2 -
Last night was lovely, so nice to see groups back out exercising, took the family with me and went for a walk on the beach there. Somehow dd was excited even though we live by the sea anyway just up the coast, nice to have a different view I suppose!
Pay day from second job today and I've transferred over £525 to the school fees pot, also paid a chunk off the credit card which brings that down to £1600. Loan balance also updated. I will pay some more to school and credit card when I get paid again next week.
Plasterer should be here about midday today, not counting my chickens!
Going on a trip to the big city next month for work so need to find out which of my sessions I need to cancel, dd is going to come too and visit the in-laws whilst I'm there.
Right need to make a lasagne for tea ready to pop in the oven as out this evening.

You're smashing the CC and the loan.
Ouch to the school fees, I thought mine was bad paying for DD's school travel.
Hope the plasterer comes and you're not hanging around.

Evening all, unexpected evening at home as had to cancel one of my clubs due to the bad weather.
Went into my second job for a supervision this morning, some good news coming from there in terms of a £500 bonus that we're getting. This will go straight off the credit card in a big payment and with a refund from dd DofE not going ahead I will be down to £1000 and tackling the final leg of this part of debt busting.
In more good news I got lots of requests for my session that's through my business so I asked about a slot in the hour before my current one, it's available so I put out a post a couple of hours ago and I've already filled two thirds of the spaces! It starts second week of June due to commitments before then but good to know I'll have more income and can put this money to good use.
Plasterer came and was earlyjust waiting for him to send through the quotes so we can book him in for the first bit of work to be done.
Kids are off school tomorrow as teacher training day, so will have a film night and relax.

DD DofE refund came in so another £100 paid off the card, can really start to see the end now!

Thanks Jan!
So pay day today and I've moved funds into various savings pots, always nice to see how even little amounts build up although I need to put some more into the guttering pot otherwise it will take an age to have a decent amount. Lots of different things need saving for and still cracking on with the card payments, nice that money is going to useful things but I will look at priorities and build those pots first.
In fact it might be time to redo my budget to factor in all these goals.
Had some bad news on Friday that F-i-L cancer has returned, he went for a big meeting yesterday at the hospital but not sure when we'll find out the results and treatment plan. I keep trying to convince DH to go down to visit as he hasn't seen them for over a year and I don't want him to regret not going should the worst happen. I'm still visiting with dd next month.
I worked in second job on Sunday night, a bit of a pain as for some reason Manager had put me on annual leave even though I hadn't booked it, had to sort out with on-call and other person who was down to cover. I stayed as I don't have many nights leave over the year so need to use wisely. Anyway whilst I was there I completed my claim form for the bonus, not sure when that will get paid though.
I have my session for my own business this evening, once everyone has paid I will be able to pay myself back another bit that I'm owed. I'm owed £150 still so will pay myself £50 which will go to school fees, once I've paid myself back I can then pay myself and hourly wage and try and get my business accounts into the green. I do need to factor in that my insurance will need renewing in August.
Right lots to do, H x2
