The bit between is always frustrating. Glad your fitness goal is progressing well.

  • Good morning, just relaxing for a couple of hours before I go and do an afternoon/evening shift, I've been out for a walk this morning as couldn't run due to aching body!

The first of the survey payments arrived today so paid straight off the card, due to the interest this will only reduce the balance by £7 but more good payments to come.

Online payslip for 2nd job came yesterday and will be paid on Monday, a nice healthy £735, I forgot I automatically get holiday pay due to being supply, so I need to split the money - I'm thinking £100 to stay in account to cover some things I've purchased plus also need to order my water bottles, give a little bit to kids, some into savings for guttering and maybe £273 to card to take it down to £2500 and then can put a bit more on there depending on what happens this month.

I have no birthdays in February but will need to pay for car tax and want to move back to annual payment rather than monthly as will be cheaper.

Digging out the garden area has stopped for a few days as the weather is not great so hoping that we can do a bit over the weekend.

Hope all are well, H x

Pay day is always lovely. Good that you are putting it in pots as needed.

  • Afternoon all, had a night shift last night so haven't done much today apart from a bit of washing up. In fact apart from a long run on Saturday I haven't done much all weekend!

I have my first vaccine tomorrow, excited to be getting it but even more excited to be have a little drive out to another town that I haven't been to for over a year. Sounds ridiculous when it's only 40 minutes up the road, actually need to put some fuel in the car.

Pay from 2nd job gone in, I've paid £273.19 to credit card to bring this down as mentioned to £2500, I just need to move a bit to the guttering fund. Cheque received today for work that dh does but he owes me it so will just sit in the account.

Loan payment has gone out today I will update total tomorrow when the balance refreshes, I'm hoping it takes me under £1k for that debt.

Next payments to debt are car payment next Tuesday (this will leave 4 more to go), another lump payment to credit next Tuesday of £140 from c/b plus my back pay on Monday from main job. This will leave me winging my way towards being in the £3k's which will be amazing and still two months of water and council tax payments to be thrown at card. Fingers crossed this all goes to plan, the end is very much in sight.

All else is fine, long may it continue! H x

  • Good evening, well what a day! Started with taking the cat to the vet as she has been poorly for a couple of days with a sore throat and her miaows sounded more like croaks, the vet was gushing over her on the phone to me whilst I waited in the car park. Anyway she has a bit of laryngitis and upset stomach so had a treatment for that and also she was due her worming/flea treatment so had that too. She wouldn't speak to me for a while back home but I think she's forgiven me now! Anyway I realised that I don't have a pot set up for vet treatments, I have one for insurance but not the things that crop up, I had enough to cover the £80 but I will start to put a little bit away each month for those little things.

Had to put fuel in the car and a little top up grocery shop then waited until I had to go for my appointment, I have to say that the set up was amazing all the staff were so friendly and the vaccine was given by a military medic. The most surreal thing being amongst lots of people when you haven't seen many for months on end.

Loan payment balance has updated and frustratingly is £5.82 off the £1k mark, if it was an account that I could make extra payment to I would tidy it up but alas no I will have to wait.

Great news on the vaccine - remember it takes a while to kick in though.
Glad your cat's okay. Sensible to have a vet savings pot.

  • Feeling ok today apart from arm is hurting quite a lot, hopefully no other reactions to the vaccine.

Today is my 25th wedding anniversary, celebrating with a Chinese meal and a glass of bubbly sent by my s-i-l!

Nothing else happening, no debt payments, chilling for the evening, all good.
