Morning all, 8 hours until lockdown begins in our county it won't affect me and dh will still go to work in the neighbouring county too. A few of my group members won't be able to come to club which is a shame and they live so near to the border!
Today is dh pay day and the last month with no mortgage payment, I have already phoned and paid off the washing machine so hope to get the confirmation email soon. I'm going to book a course that I want to do and hopefully it will still go ahead as it's in the same county but depends on whether it's viable for them to run it, if not they said it will be transferred to the next date. I will claim it back from my business account as when when I can. Oh and now on my 3rd letter to the bank to change my name on the account as now they want it on headed paper with the new business logo. I will be complaining about this in the letter, shambles!
I contacted our HR person yesterday as to when we will find out about the job, apparently it will either be today or tomorrow, 4pm Friday is probably when it will happen going by past experience. I am so up and down at the minute I feel sorry for everyone around me.
So what's next; I need to pay for pet insurance, keep chipping away at credit card and sit tight until I know what I'm doing.

Hugs - I hate waiting for things at the best of times. This seems to have taken a long time.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Afternoon! A while since posts because not much going on in the debt busting world so very boring but lots going on in life in general.
Work - well we still have more to discuss apparently so it's still not sorted except I have found out 2 things; 1) never trust anyone, they will screw you over no matter how friendly and supportive they seem. 2) Always check the small print, let's just say I messed up and my financial circumstances could have been so much better. I've learnt from it and the next year I will work hard to rectify the loss of earnings. I have information about the job but until it's absolutely confirmed I'm not counting my chickens.
I've applied for a job with my friend, on a 'bank' basis which is good for me as I need to be flexible.
Business - I've had the go ahead to restart next week, can only take a few kids and already have too many who want to come which is nice thing but will need to be managed. I'm not sure if I can definitely start as someone I was coaching is waiting for the results of a C19 test, hopefully find out by tomorrow.
I'm building up the other part of my business and I'm booked on to the course so fingers crossed it runs.
Home - DH and I took out the paving slabs from the area we're taking out and these went to a lady via fb who has a disability and will mean she can walk up the garden a bit easier. We need to decide when to get a skip to do the next bit, maybe in the half term holidays since we won't be going away now.
Small job of repairing dd curtain rail has now turned into filling the holes ready to drill new ones tomorrow!
Next month I need to start saving for the guttering and standing for the shed.
Finances - ticking on this month, not spent a lot and all minimum debt payments covered but really need to crack on with the credit card now.
Personal - Have had a wobbly week with the realisation that I've been an idiot, and losing good work colleagues, but I did treat myself to new trainers although I haven't worn them yet as I don't want to get them wet on their first outing!
Hope everyone and continuing to adjust and overcome, H x1 -
Sorry it's been such a touch week. Hope things improve for you soon.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks SH things have certainly improved but still not sorted, they have one day left!
Well things are slowly getting back to being busy which is what I like, great session with my little group 11 were booked in but 8 came due to a number of reasons but they will be back. I have more people requesting to come than I have spaces for so have said I may put on another session if the demand is there. As payments are online now I am having to chase up missing fees which I hate doing but I'm not a charity.
Work - busy with my usual job but still haven't had the other bit confirmed, I'm not chasing now they can sort it out. I had the interview for the other job this morning and I think it went well, if anything I'm over qualified but I'm happy to do the job and have it as a flexible post. The pay is better than my main job! They will give me a ring tomorrow with the decision.
Business - already mentioned the sessions, my course at the weekend has been cancelled as I thought it might so will do at some other point as no rush I probably wouldn't look to do a session until the Spring. The bank still haven't updated my business name, getting ridiculous now.
Home - dd curtains all done, this weekend we're moving the desk and computer from under the stairs into ds room then I can store my work things a bit better under there. I mainly use my laptop in the kitchen so I don't really need a desk. I haven't suggested doing the garden bits to dh in the half term, he's pulled his back trying to keep up with the kids at our club!
Personal - feeling better and enjoying being at the various sports clubs.
Finances - loan payment to go out tomorrow, small survey fund added to school dinner pot, 1 week until pay day.

Howdy folks, well after weeks of uncertainty my work will be confirming that I will be taking on the restructured post from November and also coming off furlough. I will be checking the paperwork very carefully! I also got a call from the other job and have been offered the position, due to my experience and knowledge they said that I should be in a senior position within weeks and they were impressed with my genuine persona and answers to their questions. They are going to try and fast-track my paperwork so I can get on with the shadowing shifts, we go into lockdown on Friday so I'm not sure it will happen until beginning of November also.
So all a relief and keen to crack on now although still sad to lose a good colleague and it will be interesting to speak to the other colleague after the reversal of her decision. Must remain professional.
Not much else going on and lockdown will mean that I can't run my junior sessions for a couple of weeks, kids are on half term from Friday ds won't be happy that he'll be going back after a week but dd will have another week at home. Dd will celebrate her 16th birthday under lockdown, the things she wants can be ordered online though which I'll do when I get paid on Friday.
Hope everyone is well, H x3 -
Well done- not sure what you meant about speaking to the other colleague about the reversal of her decision? Hope your DD has a wonderful birthday.x1
