Have a look on Ebay where there are some very good bargains. Often people sell ovens when they redesign their kitchen.I got a double oven for considerably less than new.3

Oh my I've just found my dream house and it's only 20 miles up the road, it's 5 bedrooms, indoor pool, gym, private lake, 63 acres of woodland and it's only £2.1 million! The business opportunities to use the site would be amazing. Ho hum back to reality
Not much happening today despite it being dh pay day, monthly direct debits going out over the next couple of days and I need to be patient over the next couple of months to pay off that first loan. I will catch up on some surveys this evening and hopefully have enough to make another small payment to the credit card.
Had a lovely walk with dh this afternoon up the hill, met someone who knew me and I recognised her face but I can't for the life of me remember her name and where from! I meet so many people in my work that I can never remember.
Updated ynab for the month, and oddly had an email to choose some new kit for work which I've done - hopefully hearing more by the end of the week.
Not much else happening except I've planted some more veg in the garden and split some of the flowers that are beginning to grow nicely.

DS went off to school this morning, he wasn't happy at first but I reassured him that it was only half a day today then only 2 more days and then the summer holidays. He was fine when he left, just needs a bit of a push sometimes to do things that he is a bit worried or unsure about.
I have spent most of the morning doing surveys, annoying when you get screened out on the last question but I've redeemed another £20 which I've paid off the card. One of the survey sites has changed their process for redeeming meaning I can only request a small amount at a time, so tomorrow I can request another £5.
I need to do a menu for the next week ready to shop, today we're having Jambalaya and just need to get a bit of Chorizo to put in it plus a packed lunch for dd as she's at school tomorrow and doesn't like their meals at the minute.
Oh the kids love the house I found, we spent dinner time coming up with plans to raise the money and we managed to get £5.01 towards it so far!!! Still that's a start!!
Right lunchtime and then pop to the shops, H x2 -
You`ve done so well with the surveys. I found Populuslive to be a good one as they pay £50 once you accrue 50 points straight to your account.3

Well ds survived school and really liked it, he's not in until next Thursday now and dd is back in again today.
This morning I've been shopping but still need to get eggs as they didn't have any apart from a few boxes which were from caged hens and I refuse to buy them. Shopping came in at £55 which also included cat food, I stopped doing set meals for lunch as everyone has something different but make sure we have ham, cheese and tinned fish in the house and when a meal has been cooked if there's any ingredients left they can use them up.
Redeemed the extra £5 from survey site plus I received my bank account reward and also cashback payout so another £20 off the credit card, the next statement is due on Monday so will wait until after that to pay a lump sum. I like how these little bits add up.
We have 2 birthdays in July, s-i-l who has requested a horse (um no!) and other s-i-l who has asked for art from my kids so they are thinking what to do and what materials they need. I love how my brother's wife loves anything the kids do and that's more precious to her than just stuff. I already have their cards so just need to think of something for dh sister, maybe horse riding session when it's allowed.
Nothing much planned for the weekend, a couple of runs and trying some new recipes from Jack Monroe, still waiting to hear any news from work. Ooh I have started doing some short courses with the OU related to my job, I've not been in the frame of mind up to now but the first one was really interesting and good to think about something different.

Glad your little ones are settling in to school. Doing some learning sounds positive too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Afternoon all, back after a difficult few days with dh but not dwelling on it he has his problems but he always comes back out the other side.
Not much happening at the minute except trying to keep up with surveys and have redeemed another £5 which has gone to the credit card, I will make a lump payment on this when I get paid in 16 days and just keep adding bits and pieces until then. Next debt payment is the loan on the 16th so still just over a week to go, still it's going down that's the main thing.
I spoke to my manager yesterday and he said the furlough letter was a standard template and he was really annoyed as the HR person once again sent it out without consulting him so heated words in the management meeting. He said things were starting to get busier again and just keep an eye out for changes as they happen so felt a bit better after talking to him.
Kids are ok they are getting on with things, next week will be their last week before the school holidays and I think schools are really pushing to find out about plans for September before the break starts. Just had an email from school about the cancelled trips and they submitted a claim with their insurers in May and would keep us updated with progress as they get it.
Meals for the last few days have been from freezer leftovers so managing to reduce costs a bit, just need to pop out to buy milk in a minute and might make some biscuits for a treat.
Hate this part of the month where little is happening but we have tomatoes growing a plenty, everyone is well and dh is taking dd out to the peak district at the weekend for a walk with friends now this travel limit has gone. We can start to do more which is welcome but need to adjust my budget to start factoring in fuel and activities again.
Hope everyone ok, H x
