The top of the kitchen table is clear :T:j:T
I can't actually sit at the table yet because of stuff on the floor around the table(Not much under the table as I cleared that out bit by bit last year.)
Guess what I found! A Toots List!!!! Dated 08.11.11That would be the original list (rewritten in 2015, and again last year
)
I also found a carved Mary, Joseph and Jesus wrapped in bubble wrap - which I don't remember at all, but it's very nice, so I'll keep it (for now)
I'm just a bit worn out now - too much excitement in one day :rotfl:

Sad news Jue, my condolences.

I connected two wine racks together with a wine rack connecting kit earlier. I was impressed with myself.
I have flown since I got back from the Childminder drop off
Washing is done & pegged out
Previously washed & dried stuff has all been put away.
Whole house has been tidied
The boxes of 'I'll put this away at some point' have all been put away.
Rubbish is in the boot of the car for the tip
Some stuff for the charity shop is also in the car.
I've packed as much as I can for a trip away to a wedding on Saturday
I've sorted my outfit for Saturday (need to iron it though boooo)
Loft office is tidy - woohooo.
I've had a shower.
There are a couple more jobs on my todo list, but, I'll either do them tonight or I'll leave them for another time. Nothing urgent.
This afternoon is all of my 'out of the house' jobs. Tip, cs, Pickle hubbies coat up from the menders. Chill out a bit. Only 2.5hours until I need to do the Childminder pick up. Where does the day go?

I'll start by ripping up some cardboard for recycling and see what follows.

Oh my - I need to stop now!
Packaging from coat stand + 2 cartons ripped up and recycled
dry washing brought in and folded
managed to shove everything back in to the cupboard under the stairs - aka RoD2- and close the door:T
coat stand now stood in front of the cupboard door
Found a letter. dated January 2006, from an old schoolfriend - we left school in 1978! Letter read and to be recycled.
Wanted to cry at what still needs to be done rather than :T:T at progress made today - that's when I knew I need to stop for today.
Recharge my batteries and start again tomorrow.
Thank you for cheering me on from the sidelines- it is much appreciated.

Been to town.
Squirrelled away a bit of cash into an account.
Bought cards for September. And saw Christmas cards on sale...*sigh*
Bought hair colour (only available in Boots; bought on offer though)
Also bought 3 lipsticks as they were buy 2 get 1 free and I had a £10 off a £20 spend. So, effectively 3 for £10. So I can fling my old ones now.
Also bought Yankee Candles reduced in Tesco to split for stocking fillers.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Brief period of garden work done. One binbag hidden in the general waste wheelie bin, one wodge of cardboard in that one, two bonfires' worth of dry vegetation ready and assorted balls returned to the children next door.
Then had my injection and got hit by the side effects shortly after - headache and nausea. So I'm laying down whilst Himself sorts food and he reckons he's going to clean the bath so I can veg out in it later.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Morning all,
Have a headache so have given in and got up to take some painkillers and make a cuppa. I have checked online banking (sob), and set the first of two loads of laundry going. Got a busy but nice day ahead, making the most of it before it's back to the coal face on Monday!
Have lovely days all xx0 -
Morning all
My last day of posting for two weeks.... holibobs tomorrow!! I shall be fluttering in a Villa in the sun.
Today’s list.
WM x 1 if weather good
Change bedding
Quick vac of whole house, it’s been done already this week but I like to leave it clean and tidy when we go away
Clean bathroom and en-suite
Clean kitchen
Put yesterday’s laundry away
Empty bins
Take cats to their holiday...
Finish packing, almost there, just toiletries left really
Oh, and a full day of paid stuff too!
With that, I should probably finish my cuppa, shower and get started!
Have a lovely day all, sending hugs to those in need x0
