Lots of little jobs done. Nothing substantial, but in the process a frog has been munched - I have braved making a check up appointment with a new to me dental practice.

    It is finally raining here.

A quick whistle-stop for one of my less-frequent-than-I'd-like visits.

Still boogerin' on as best I can; DH is trying his best, but I have to keep prompting him to actually do something (he keeps parking his butt on the sofa and staring into space) and then coming behind him and re-doing tasks he's done, as he's no longer doing them properly.

I've set myself a task of re-reading all the info we have on Parkinson's with a view to seeing if there's a way to make things easier, as in get a system in place where he knows what's needed without me prompting, and will do the task properly. I think it's a question of his brain functions differently now, and we need to work with that fact in mind; find a method that will lodge info in there.

Sorry, I'm probably not making a lot of sense; I'm not sleeping at night due to a) heat b) pain c) worry.

However, I'm still on the face of the planet; sorry I haven't read through the thread as yet, but I hope everyone's as ok as possible.

Sotty to intrude on this thread but just want to send love, light and positive vibes to dear Wolfy and her husband. You're much missed by your friends on OS but obviously have a geat deal to deal with . I do think of you when I light the nightly candle and send the lavender vibes your way. I hope you have some furry guests to brighton your days.
    Take care

So today I have cleaned the kitchen, the bathroom and the dining room.
    I have ironed.
My house is clean and tidy. My garden is neater than it was. My gutter and down pipe have been restored to full working order, though yet to be tested by a deluge f biblical proportions. Next week it's back to the paid stuff and
I'M foregoing my day off as our INSET is being delivered by someone I follow on Facebook. So, this time next week no doubt the house will be a tip.
But I'm slimmer, calmer and I've has a good summer.

Got a day out Friday, avoiding the neighbours weekend event.

Tomorrow I need to check The Summer List.

    well done Valli!

I've started on today's jobs already so I've cleaned out the fridge, bins out, TD on.
Still got loads on my todo list but I'm slowly ticking things off. My new kitchen should arrive tomorrow morning so will hopefully be fitted by the end of the weekend so next week will be spent putting the downstairs back to rights and everything back into the kitchen.

One of the things I meant to do this holiday was to go and visit a couple I know who I hadn't seen for a bit and I knew she hadn't been very well, although she hasn't been well for a long while - they are quite elderly, but I got the news yesterday that she died yesterday morning so I'm gutted and feel a bit guilty IYKWIM. Don't put spending time with friends and family off because you're busy.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning

Bright and sunny here too and forecast to stay that way so WM will be going on when I've finished this post.

I'll need to pop to Mr C00p for salad at some point today - but other than that I am not planning on going anywhere :D

    Have a good day

    Good morning all.

Sunny again after last night’s rain. I’m dithering while trying to decide how best to use my day. That usually sets me up for achieving very little.
Hugs, JJ. I suspect that we have all been guilty of that at sometime.
Well done, Valli. I still haven’t written my summer list and I’m back to job 2 next week...
I’m going to finish my cuppa and posting here then it’s HHI to kick start my day.

It's going to be a bit cooler here today so I am looking forward to that. Still a lovely temperature.

    Up, dressed, showered
    Bathroom s/s
Bed made and clothes picked up
Ironing done and put away (I iron on landing just next to bedroom so I put each item away as soon as it's ironed, increases number of steps for the day and stops me getting back ache or stiff whilst ironing)
Cleared kitchen up properly yesterday evening whilst making dinner and then bothered to put it to bed later so this morning it was lovely to come down to a clear kitchen and OH unloaded DW so a good start to the day. Going to try and make putting the kitchen to bed a daily habit as it's so nice to come down to in the morning. Day seems to get off to a better start

So now enjoying crumpets for breakfast (a very rare find in this part of the world)
Hairdressers for me and DD1 this morning, then home for the afternoon.

    Hugs to all

WM swishing with first of 2 loads
taken pile of clean clothes upstairs
    made my bed
    washed and dressed
    sloshed bleach down the loo
brought down a couple of drinks bottles from DS's room
    rinsed & recycled 8 cans + 1 plastic bottle + cardboard
    brought emptied bin in
more bags for life placed in 'carrier' bag
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang programme placed on DS's bed - he can decide whether it is keep or recycle when he gets home from work
(that's a tiny bit more table reclaimed :D)

Just having a coffee - Valli put the idea in my head :D

Next I'm going to assemble the coat stand I purchased many moons ago - then we'll have somewhere to hang coats :T I'm quite excited :D
