Morning all
Late in for me but I’ve been up and about for a while, just making a cuppa. So far I have
Done dailies
WM x1 done and on line
Done a bit more packing
Nearly 3 hours of paid stuff!
Taking a break from paid stuff now to pop out and run an errand or two, have back to back meetings from 11am onwards, hoping at least some of them will finish early so I can get on with other stuff!
Later on I will vac and dust dining room, clean kitchen, utility and downstairs loo. May also try to do another wash load while weather is good.
Have a good day all, hugs to those in need x0 -
HHI done
Clean clothes sorted back to rightful owners. Socks squashed in my drawer so that is going to get sorted later.
Downstairs cloakroom cleaned.
2 vases of dead flowers emptied, vases soaking, and a bunch of sweet peas picked to brighten up the kitchen.
Coffee, then onwards and upwards to the en-suite before I get distracted.0 -
Next I'm going to assemble the coat stand I purchased many moons ago - then we'll have somewhere to hang coats :T I'm quite excited
Rxx
Progress report:
1st WM load pegged out
2nd WM load swishing
6 cans rinsed and recycled
'coat rack' box opened
puzzled face
read Instructions
'shoe rack' box put to one side(to be assembled later now the box is opened
)
coat rack box opened :rotfl:
contents checked - all present and correct
Step 1 done - half the standy up pole is now attached to three legs and stood up :T
Taking a break as sweating and thirsty - opened back door to let in some cooler air - I didn't really have enough hands to hold two cylinders, two screws, two washers, one Allen key AND turn the Allen key all at the same time. But done that … x 3 ….
Step 2 next: attach the coat hangy things to the other half of the standy up pole - wish me luck

Hoovered downstairs
Sorted out 'heap' on kitchen table
Sorted out fridge

Step 2 done
That was easier - as I now have recent experience in holding two cylinders, two screws, two washers and an Allen Key AND turning the key at the same time
Turns out I'm ambidextrous with Allen keys
Lost count of the number of times that I got everything lined up and then dropped the Allen key - but I haven't sworn....yet
Sweetie is supervising. You can see him thinking 'What is she doing now?' :rotfl:
2nd load is ready for pegging out so I'll do that before I attempt Step 3 (of 4) I'm halfway :T

ETA: I'm sure my Dad would help me if I asked, Kaz, but he'd also take over and do it for me and I want to do it myself. I already have a sense of achievement brewing xxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0 -
Guess who has a coat stand stood in the kitchen?
:T
And an empty kitchen chair which was buried under a pile of coats earlier?:T
I've not eaten yet today - so I'm going to pop to Mr C00p now and treat myself to a sandwich.
There's a hat, scarf and glove set waiting to go up to DS's room; and the lonely sock bag can go up too - only my ottoman to wade through at some point and then any unmatched socks can be flung. That's a bit more table
Plan for this afti: jigsaws to be dusted and put in cupboard; tent and bedroll to be taken up to RoD (for now); England flag, and school tie (DS is 26) to go up to DS's room - to be put in his memory box if he wants to keep it. Wolf onesie to go up to DS's room. Coats to be hung or flung.
Then we'll see what's left. It's not even that big a table

Go you, Round! :T You inspired me to keep at it, so I have
Cleaned the en-suite AND the bathroom
Swept both floors plus the kitchen, and mopped them
Mop, bucket and loo brushes are bleached and drying in the sun.
I’m now going to keep at it whilst the guag is still here and touch up the paint in the BedRoomofDoom. Yes, this is the room that was cleared and started last Christmas, and still isn’t finished.
Thank you for the loan of the guag, whoever it belongs to. Feel free to take it back this afternoon0 -
Guess who has just realised that if she'd switched on the fan she wouldn't have been so hot whilst assembling the coat stand

WTG round.
45 minutes done on the 'veg patch'. Mostly digging out couch grass. heavy work so I'm going to aim to do little and often.
Quick vacuum of hallway including round scratching post, with aim of flea eradication.
Yesterday's aired laundry homed. Another wash done and pegged out.
Tidying on landing.
