Valli, I've ordered the rain to go up to yours :)

Lying in garden on my rug, dreaming away, and I get a sprinkling of water on me, I think it is OH being silly with a glass of water, but no it is raining!!

Just had some rain here too, it feels just a little cooler now I think.
Paid stuff done, having a sit down and a cool drink and will think about starting supper, have brought my sewing box down so I think I will sit in the garden to hem my trousers.
A few more jobs to do but the heat has worn me out today, will take a breather and then see how I feel.

    Bye for now

Haven't got very far down my list but I have decluttered a load of paperwork and been left with 10 lever arch files/ring binders to get rid of!

There is the slight problem of the fact that I can't move in the LR now with furniture in the middle of the room, stuff for the CS, rubbish bags and kitchen stuff. I suppose I'd better try and at lest make some room to sit down for when DH gets back later!

Just had a marathon session in the garden. Lawn edges strimmed (well I say lawn - grass really) and lots and lots of pulling of grass carpet from what was once a productive vegetable plot that has suffered from neglect...lawn mowed.
I have also been round the side of the shed and removed the rubble - most of which 'appeared' when neighbours at the back had their fence replaced. At no time have I owned a stone frog. I am sorely tempted to return the now-broken frog (the condition I found it in) under cover of darkness.

Looks much better - a few more sessions and I *might* get my veg plot and strawberry patch back.

    Showered now.

    (((Hugs))) ASB.
Have a lovely holiday, Dancemum and Ionafan.

One of the Rooms of Doom has been tackled and finished as much as I needed it to be finished. It could do with a thorough clean and repaint but I haven't got the energy or the time for all that. It has however been sorted, stuff put out for the CS, and stuff thrown. It looks a thousand times better.

Double and superking turned around at last, as well.

It looks as though the little stray cat that managed to get into the house, terrorised ours for a week until I trapped it and put it into a local rescue centre has been rehomed. Once it had got used to people it was friendly, apparently. I hope it has a long and happy life.
    Better is good enough.

    Hi all

Back from a lovely couple of days away, washing done, some to put over airer that hadnt dried before it rained. HM lamb burgers made, and 2 lasagnes.

I am now off to write a meal plan, I have come to hate shopping for food and cooking meals - I need to get more organised somehow.

Well it looks like we had a little rain but there's a bright blue sky and sunshine! Not what was forecast.

Same here - maybe a bit of rain overnight, but blue skies and sunshine now.
Bed stripped and bedding in wm. I’m having my hair cut later this morning, not sure what else the day will bring. DH is wfh waiting for a delivery, so will be underfoot this afternoon, no doubt.
Hope you are having a lovely holiday dancemum. You certainly deserve it.
